Je ne me lasserai jamais d'écouter, ré-écouter et écouter encore ces magnifiques titres de Mark Knopfler ! Un musicien hors du commun. Et une voix tellement particulière. Cela dit, concernant Once upon a time in the west, personnellement, je préfère lorsqu'il la joue avec sa Strat ; c'est plus claquant. Un côté Country bien plaisant. Les micros, plus "gras" de sa Les Paul conviennent mieux à, par exemple Brothers in arms. Mark joue avec son coeur, ça se voit et ça se sent. Merci à ce grand, grand guitariste.

Never any mistaking ANYTHING Mark plays … even if he doesn’t sing, his playing is unique and outstanding. He truly is one of the most underrated guitar players of his “prime” era ever. Only difference is that his own love of his ability and willingness to keep learning, combined with his humble persona that keeps him just “Mark” … sets him apart from all his peers. I for one will never tire of listening to his emotive and flawless playing
