Did anybody here got a respond? we are waiting for 7 months, actually we don't know a single person that was approved in the past 7 months. Some people say IAMPEI halted the process and don't really review applications at all, it's all on hold. Not sure if it's true. I dont think any process should take 7 months, especially not a "startup" one where you need to move fast. Strange.

Hi! Can I submit a request/bus idea/plan to one incubator right away and to others later with more research? What I mean is, do I have to submit to all incubators I am interested in at once?

Hi, you can send more requests after submitting the application. Although to be able to submit you need at least one incubator’s approval which you can easier get when sending more requests. Later on you’ll choose one to work with

Your videos are great but you basically ruined it for everyone :) from what i understand, the amount of requests now are ridicules, tens of thousands, and we are waiting already for 7 months (!) for results, and same as my friends. Basically we gave up because it is ridicules to wait almost a year for a visa. Probably too many junk applicants applied.

I wish I could accept it as a compliment thinking that my video made such an impact that the entire government agency collapsed 😂 I just don’t think it’s even close to truth. Let me explain why. First of all, even a year ago when I was lucky to get my approval in 28 days there were applicants (a lot of them, as I got to know later) who had submitted more or less in the same time span and waited for months. Second of all, my friends submitted just yesterday and their application number is something around 12** (mine was 7**) - so definitely not the “tens of thousands”. Although, I guess after 7 months you feel so disappointed that none of the explanation helps 😔 and I’m sorry to hear that and hope you get the approval soon! Call and email them - that’s all I can say. And keep in mind that any bureaucracy in Portugal is a nightmare and requires a huge amount of time and patience.

@@girlgoeshigh this is definitely not to blame you or something, and it IS tens of thousands applicants because I spoke with someone important there, which said that there was a "strange" spike in requests in the past 8 months and people used to wait for around 2 months last year, and it is now x4 longer or more.. The fact you see 1xxx doesn't mean the line starts from zero, it can be restarted and usually is. Anyway, it seems that most applications are fake/junk because it is so easy to apply.

Great content Kseniia, I’m literally writing this comment from the Airplane from Lisbon to Amsterdam after an amazing week here where I applied all of your tips and tricks and actually signed the contract with the incubator! We’ll be back here after the startup visa is ready and hopefully SEF gets a bit faster! @girlgoeshigh - Does incubator claim %5 or %10 of the company shares or not at all? Do you legally have to sign a binding agreement that if your company becomes successful, you have to pay certain amount of money to them?
