Very useful information for me. I’m coming to Portugal by tourist visa and considering to start a small business there. Can I apply a residence visa directly after I have my company with a tourist visa or should I need to go back to my country and apply D2 visa after my company settled?

Yes, you can come on a tourist visa and then apply for a residence permit. It’s absolutely legal. Then, to learn what type of residence (article) fits your case I recommend checking out the SEF website
