Thank you for sharing the home town tour. Looks like a beautiful area. My husband is Polish and his mother never added the sour cream and dill with her cucumber salad. We had some friends that were polish and she served your salad the first time we had dinner. I still have the recipe but haven't made in. Now I'm excited to try it soon. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I have to tell you I hate mandolin slicers. My friend almost cut her finger off. We have one and I refuse to use it and my husband knows he's not allowed to use it unless I'm here. However, a couple weeks ago you were using a chopper while you were making a recipe and I bought it. I haven't used it yet but I will because I have to do some shopping for the 4th of July. I truly feel like you are my friend too. I get so excited when you comment back to me. I enjoyed hearing about and seeing your pretty little town. But even more intriguing to me was it's name. My maiden name is Poland, and my ancestors are from that general part of the country. I read that one legend says that your town was named after Its first proprietor, George Poland. My grandfather's name was George Poland! Although I know the town wasn't named after him, I have to wonder if your George was a distant relative or ancestor of mine.
