I love all this games. What i see is that they dont like doing boss fights twice. Thats why Knight is so different from origins

Honestly, i don't really like the idea of Jason being the Arkham Knight. Ik its different circumstances in the game, but Jason in UTRH and every other appearance never actually cared that Bruce didn't save him, just that the Joker was still alive. And, well, that doesn't really work here for obvious reasons. Everyone thinks Batman killed the Joker. Honestly, had i written this game, i would've gone a completely different route: have DICK be the Arkham Knight while throwing in red herrings and hints all around the city. Maybe leave Jason out of the story until after the reveal, throw in false 'hints' implying Jason is the Arkham Knight (maybe Bruce n Alfred talk about his sons death, but never actually say who died). But when you actually start looking into it and exploring the city, things stop making sense. Maybe you find Nightwing memorials, a 'Dick Grayson foundation', etc. Or there's little hints that the Red Hood is around, maybe when you listen to NPCs talk and whatnot. Granted, there would need to be a different motivation i think. I don't think Dick would just want Bruce to suffer, i think it'd be far more intriguing if he genuinely thought Bruce was a danger to the kids he takes in and that's why he feels the need to kill Bruce. That could also mix with revenge, even if that's not his priority. Also, who the hell would expect Dick fucking Grayson to be the big bad?? The first Robin, the golden boy, the boy wonder- he'd be the LAST person you'd expect to be so hateful. And Dick wanting to 'save' his siblings from Bruce would be a genuinely interesting motivation. Also, cmon, the Arkham Knight is BLUE. It would've been perfect! Especially since Dick is constantly seen as a 'better Batman'. I think Jason being the Arkham Knight is just way way too obvious, but they could've used it to their advantage to throw people off. Hell, if they wanted, they could've done a whole ARG! Or, at least, thats what i would've done loll. Such a missed opportunity ngl.

Story wise its great gameplay wise its a horrible fight but its not a disappointing ending and it makes sense for his charecter

Finally completed this challenge on normal difficulty a few hours ago after about a month and many attempts (I'd guess around 50.) Huge weight lifted off my shoulders and I'll never do a challenge like this again. Thanks for putting me up to this challenge tho Vigil!

Also another cool detail in that level is that it is possible to outrun Killer Croc and he’ll just dive into the water which is an animation I’ve never seen before

You actually kinda make good points lol. Titan Joker was the perfect conclusion for Arkham Asylum (conceptually). He spends the entire game mutating everyone with Titan. It only makes sense that he eventually uses it on himself. He wanted Batman to let loose just like him. "Two freaks in a fight to the death!" Just wish the fight itself didn't suck though. I wish you fought him more directly instead of running from him and fighting goons instead. Also I wish the camera stayed closer like normal instead of pulled so far back so you could really soak in how huge Joker is compared to you.

I think people fail to realize Joker is the main antagonist of all 4 games, including Knight. Scarecrow is used as a tool in the story to put the joker in it, to essentially bring him back to life.

If you look at concept art of Joker in Arkham Asylum, he himself was supposed to be dressed as an asylum doctor to go with Harley Quinn's nurse outfit, and his titan form was supposed to be all spindly to line up with how drastically different his henchmen's changes were to Poison Ivy's. If Rocksteady had just gone with that, Asylum's finale would have been all the more brilliant.

Honestly, with Titan being the big threat it was in the asylum, I think it’s fitting for the last boss fight to be a titan battle. And seeing as the mastermind behind Titan in the first place, it would make sense for Titan Joker to be the final battle… The main problem was the execution. Even if he was just a Titan henchman with extra hell, I think it would’ve helped the battle in terms of gameplay. However, I will say in terms of narrative it is important for the ongoing series and I do like how it highlights joker’s vanity

I can say that Boosteroid is at least pretty good, as my friend has spend over at least 1000 hours on Rust, and all on Boosteroid I haven't tried it myself however

idk man, I think Jason Todd as Arkham Knight works super well. Mindfucked by the joker, became revengefull but still, at least instinctively, acts not lethal towards Batman. He know he grow up with him, he knows Batman was his mentor, he knows Batman is the only reason Arkham Knight is as strong as he is thanks to Batman. Arkham Knight has a really bad trauma and forces it upon Batman, but his feeligns say otherwise. Torn between Revenge and knowing it is not quite Batmans fault, but having nothing else to force his anger and his skills upon to. He is after all an over-militarised killingmachine - who else could he chose but batman to fight, nobody is a match for him yet the only thing he can do is fight. On the same side, Batman doesn't want to fight him, for the sam reasons, but he has to, so he takes care not to overpower him in total but find a way to his root to make him realise this fight isn't it.

One new thing I learned in Arkham Knight, is if you use the disruptor gun twice on a gun user, you can then shoot them with the electric shock gun, to force them to shoot their gun, causing them to KO themselves.
