Blitzy chess is not real chess. They are contradictory. The fact that you are a chess master doesn't mean you will win more in very fast games. And vice versa.

No such thing as 'real chess' so no point in gatekeeping it. The game is whatever predetermined conditions the players decide upon and always been like that since its creation.

@@12354rony For me, the essence and beauty of chess is strategic thinking. If you have to make a move every second there is no time to think. Everybody is free to change the conventions, but at a certain point the meaning of the word chess becomes vague.

Even if Levy gets the rating he needs he still needs to get 3 norms. So it is not enough to have the playing strength of a gm therefore it is more likely that Anna will reach 2450 before Levy becomes a gm.

Levy can pay GMs in traditional chess and Anna cannot in online blitz.

That was fun... I'd like to see which chess streamer can beat all the intermediates in the least time. The rules: Random black or white. You can lose but you have to play until you win against each bot. This is a challenge to Levy, Hikaru, the Botez's, Nemo, Dina, Jules, etc!

The internal battle between is Swedes, Danes and our Norwegian brothers and sisters is so funny. I miss Scandinavia after many years away from home. You can definitely get 2400 and go further. Be patient, be disciplined, be confidential.

anna if you want to reach some rating you study, not play all the time on the same place... its like a language you need to know 4000 moves. how many years you are playing and yet you try to make some rating without learning the moves... its like trying to pass language test without knowing the words. However hard you try the score will be the same.
