The older systems can very easily be upgraded to be ADA compliant and most of these older systems are and can be tied into security companies and fire departments, I just don't show that in my videos. These older systems are 100 times more dependable then the absolute cheap digital crap that is manufactured today.

The Simplex FACP 4002 was designed to do several different codes. Code 3 was just one of them.

Actually, there are still many of these old fire alarm systems still in use throughout the United States thanks to the "Grandfathers clause".

One more question boss, have you come across a non rebranded Autocall 121-S before and do you know what it was called?

@@CliffNark Great question! The answer is no. The only ones I have in my collection and that I have seen are Autocall, IBM and Faraday. But I'm sure there are other companies that used this type model horn. Edwards and Simplex used Benjamin horns. Wheeler had their own style klaxon horns. I will be posting some new videos soon. @@CliffNark I was fortunate to meet with a former employee who worked for the original Autocall Co. out of Shelby, Ohio. He worked the production line and later became a sales represenative. He was the one who told me that Autocall bought the horns from Federal then rebranded them as their own. The former employee was 79 years old when I met him and that was back in 2008.

Yes, the horns are Autocall vibratone Model 350 horns.

@OldSchoolFireAlarms thank I appreciate it, makes sense. You are right about the projectors. Federal signal made them and other companies rebranded them. They even still makes the 350s today as industrial audible signals

@@umbrefawx They were one of the very best horns made, not sure about the newer ones made today.

This school was the original East High School. The school was later named Goodyear Jr. High School. They changed the name again one last time to Goodyear Middle School. The school has been closed for some time now and was sold to the hotel across the street. So it is now in the hands of a private company. Its just a matter of time before the school is either demolished or repurposed and renovated. In either case, it will cost a large sum of money to do one or the other.

I know exactly what you mean. My sentiments are the very same. That building was still in really good shape. It NEVER should have been demolished. It should have been renovated, new windows, new HVAC, some tuck-pointing masonary work, etc. They could have made that school look like new again.
