what are your thoughts on a minicut Jack? Do you recommend one? I’m planning to do it for 3-5 weeks after just getting back from holidays and losing aiming at a rate of weight loss of 1% bw a week?
@FitnessAfter407 сағат бұрын
A very helpful tool and no real downside short of tanking your calories south of 10x your projected end weight.

Hey Jack, been following your videos since I came across the hernia vids, I’m 2 weeks post op laparoscopic inguinal hernia, feel pretty good. Normally get around 20,000 steps a day. I’m around 7-8 thousand now losing my mind.. just wondering how long until you felt normal again? Unfortunately I’m a roofer so I’m out of commission for a little bit. See the dr tomorrow hopefully he gives ok to do a little more, but I don’t want to push it as I need to get back to work. I see you lifting, I’m petrified to do any of that right now lol… last year my new year resolution was walking, I wanted to start lifting again this year I guess it’s gonna have to be a February resolution. Just wanted to know when you started feeling comfortable again. Thanks Happy New Year!!
@_jackperez_18 сағат бұрын
I’d say at least 8 weeks for feeling normal again and I eased back into lifting, steps etc still taking it easy on major compound movements in training and no direct ab work yet

@@_jackperez_thanks brother, dr said no work for me for 6 weeks. Said I’m doing right with slowly getting back into my routine. Guess it’s the right time for me to not be working being winter is here. Train safe bro, I’ll continue to watch your channel as I want to get back into weight training and healthy living ✌️

I had to come to your channel Jack, watching again. Life has been crazy lately. I want to say thank you so much. Your videos got me through my surgery for my upper dominant arm. I literally watched all your videos. You" ll get through your surgery like a champ. I changed my life because of you. I watched your transformation in your bodybuilding competition, it was inspiring! Happy to say i am pretty much back to healthy. I don't have the strength yet in my arm, but I have the mobility back! I am so grateful for your channel. Happy New Year! To you and your family. Much love from Canada🎉🥳

Jack! I like this approach, not changing much and continue to do what works. For me I am going on a 6 week cut to lose about 8 lbs. After the cut ill be upping my calories and continuing to workout and eat clean as much as possible with room to snack when I want or have that nice dinner out.

1400 calories for me, a 5'3 woman, that's in my late 30s, eating at least 90g of protein a day melts fat off of me. Just the sticking with it is key and I need to keep tracking once I drop the weight. Also greek yogurt is great as I love ice cream but eat greek yogurt instead.

Jack I am 48 and in the best shape of my life 6'2 189 around 12-15% bodyfat Had major accident 12 years ago. Was at 310lbs.I am now hyperfused on my nutrition. I love your channel and the way you interact with your audience. I wanted to tell you your physique is still extremely impressive. in this video. I know how hard it can be to go from peak performance then have life throw us some curveballs but you are a special kind of person with drive and focus along with compassion and kindness. I don't usually reach out to you tube influencers I just think you are a special more compassionate influencer in your field and you are doing great. The hardest thing for me is not getting validation for all my hard work...I know truly understand it is more likely coming from other peoples insecurities and I must stay focused and understand that and validate myself everyday...Merry Christmas

I had mine two days ago. It's CO2 they 'pump' your abdomen with. Not 'air' like a tire. Your body absorbs it, eventually. Walk as much as you can and hydrate.
