Im very eggcited for the new Exeggcute, the fact that it gives itself a grass energy for one colorless means you can throw the current Exeggutor EX into ANY type of deck and be able to get its singular grass energy it needs

Imho leaf is not good, it might be played in some decks with high retreat costs but u won t play it in most decks, u don t want to waste ur 1 trainer a turn u can play on leaf usually

It pairs really well with ex mons with a 3-4 energy retreat cost or mons that need to sustain high energy like char ex especially when you need to make strategic swaps

For mew exs genome attack, in the regular tcg, if mew has no fire energy to discard (assumin youre copyin charizard exs atk) the damage still happens but you dont discard energy, if you do have a fire energy on mew you must discard the fire energy.

Marshadow covers promo mankey's weak point pretty well. Put one energy on Marshadow before you energy and attack with mankey and your opponent is pressured with 100 damage basically no matter what. Pika will not survive. The next pika can't 1 shot it unless they get another basic. Plus this guy two shots pika even without the revenge being active. It plays very well with small marowak against pika. Really exciting card, I'm curious to see how it plays in other matchups too. We may just have a meta shake up coming

Not really if you waste a turn puttin an energy on a benched marshadow before your active mankey chances are it will be dead anyways by the time you can attack

@@VertViraldid you read what marshadow does? If you go first nothing is killing mankey besides a farfetch and he's becoming less used these days. But throwing energy on marsh shadow before mankey ensures a pika ex ko no matter what. If you go second mankey becomes unstoppable.

This wasn't too bad with your Starmie/Golduck deck. Got up to 9 wins without a loss pretty easily. And you're right Articuno is slow. I was never mad to see my opponent play one. Felt like an auto win. I also agree this game doesn't need ranked though. Ranked just makes people super try hards and then everyone starts whining about balance and no matter the changes they make the try hards will find new cards to complain about. I don't think this game is meant to be competitive.

I agree that getting the 5 wins comes mostly down to luck and not skill. My low spender account with every meta deck struggled for a couple hours running pika and mewtwo decks. Finally got it after getting 4 wins 5 times. Meanwhile my f2p account got 5 wins first try with starmie/golduck. Just how it goes I guess

Starmie/Golduck is just good. It's fast and even if you strike out with Misty it doesn't hurt that bad. I also haven't ran into too any Pikas, and even still it's not an auto loss to Pika. Great deck.
