The first time I ever had onyx turn 1 with double Brock in hand, I fell in love. Brock, energy, brock, and turn 3 you are swinging for 70 And the rest of the game putting energy on Geodude

It’s a starting hand that can happen pretty often and it feels so good. Swinging for 70 so early is great and it can make the dragonite players quit when they see it since it’s right at Dratini’s hp

Brock is amazing, and the deck can defeat Pikachu EX and Mewtwo EX, worth a try. Venusaur is the most troublesome matchup, Exeguttor EX as well.

I’m a shameless pikachu main and this deck absolutely shreds me like 80% of the time. Unless I get a perfect turn 2 start and they get a bad opening hand. Pretty awesome stuff!

Great video, fun deck, but fuck me I'm having terrible results with it. I mean, in Randoms it does quite well, but in tournoment... not... not good. Maybe player issue, maybe getting matched with 2 gengar... whatever it is, it's not going well

Just tested this deck, short one dugtrio so double onix. 2 out of 2 against pikachu. Double onix not ideal but other than that it felt pretty fun

Further testing, took out many pikachu ex and mewtwo ex, super badass. As soon as golem is close to ready, you can really ambush. Many times it was just a sweep in the end which is guess how this deck plays. I suspect at the higher end these competitors will plan around it and not let it build up. Thanks again for the recommendation
