I wouldn't put too much stock in the win rates on the site for that specific tournament. There were quite a few 0-10-0 players skewing the results, especially for some of the lower play rate decks. These 0-10-0 players were matched against other 0-10-0 players, which just doesn't add up. Looks like people dropped and the system did not properly process it.

I think the greater point is that these matches are more representative of how the game is in random battles/versus and not necessarily a tournament of player skill (hence raven saying 2 deck conq being better for tourneys).

I like the idea of being 3 decks and then you can Ban one of your opponents. Then win with each other deck.

I've been experimenting with some decks in the pvp event and I gotta say, by far the most consistent/strongest deck I've used is 2x Primeape line (new mankey) with 2x Pidgeot line and 1 Sabrina. Despite the type lineup issues with being week to Psychic and Electric, I have a positive winrate against both Mewtwo EX and Pikachu EX decks. It's actually crazy how powerful Pidgeots ability is

If you like Pidgeot, try Exeggutor/victreebell. With Victoreebell you can easily do 120/130 in two turns, *and* you're immune to them switching out a good chunk of meta EX due to them being basic, just grab them back lol. Close to half my games end with the opponent in a checkmate position and either they see it and concede, or attack/pass and instantly lose. 2 Sabrina, 2 Erika, 2 Oak, 2 Pokeball, 1 potion, 1 speed. I have tried a variation of 0-2 potions/speed and tried 1 Pokeball. When I have the speed in hand and need it, it is insanely useful, same with the potion. Cutting a pokeball does make games feel less consistent

What supporter/item cards do you go with that?

@ninelstromback2438 2x Oak, 2x Ball, 2x Potion, 1x Speed, 2x Giovanni, 1x Sabrina. Sometimes you really want a Sabrina early game before you can get Pidgeot just so set up a little more safely. You could probably swap it out for another X-speed, it really just depends on how aggressive you want to play the deck

I had fun with these 2 deck but yeah its slow setup usually lose with pikachu ex.. Pidgeotto & Arbok are nasty. Swap (pidgeotto) and cannt go back (arbok) Omastar & Hypno also cursed, cannt atk (omastar) and cannt go back. (Sleep)

Ye I love Pigeot! Also don't have 2 Omastars to try truly degen stuff yet :D
