As stated in my physics book: *Fire*... a massive release of photons and or plasma from a chemical or nuclear exothermic reaction. The radiation you see & feel from "fire", are photons of various frequencies. Furthermore... chemical fires do not always involve Oxygen. In my physics class we set Hydrogen gas on fire using Chlorine to act like an oxidizer, with the byproduct being Hydrogen chloride ( HCl ).

Is the title accurate? MO theory itself is based on a number of (pretty massive) approximations, so it probably is not what is *really* going on so to say

I stopped watching at 1:40. You are wrong. Orbitals exist no matter what. Orbitals are etched into the Aether and merely provide a spot for smaller particles to occupy IF their rotation speed and direction match the open orbital. I'm not going to watch the rest, but good luck with your dogma.

Our bodies don't know how tp deal with pure aluminum, as it's always attached to a bauxite in nature. In it's pure form it, like beryllium, is toxic with delayed onset of symptoms for 20+ years. As it has a low melting temp. it welds to the neurons in the brain magnifying the S/S of dementia.

What about complexing? Chelation and such? If you're talking about a vandlium flow battery, how does the chelation of the cation affect the voltage and power output of the battery? Better question, how come electrons push on to the wire on in a battery instead of just recombining with the ion reducing it back? Is this related?

Let’s not forget all the minerals of metals are oxidized, so if we were able to produce zero carbon electricity all the metals we use will produce net oxygen for the atmosphere from Lithium to Uranium

I stumbled upon your channel and I have to admit you are the only one that made me truly understand all the "exceptions" chemistry books try to hide 'underneath'. It's all about how well you understand what happens at a fundamental level. I discovered I'm really passionate about chemistry, but I'm working in software at the moment and I wish some day I will be able to work in this field. I think humanity needs to focus more on this kind of knowledge because this is what makes us progress as a species.

I don't know if it is the MOST toxic, plutonium and uranium are going to have something to say, but it isn't a health supplement. I work with a beryllium alloy sometimes and always have to take special precautions.

You did a brilliant job explaining evaporation. Highly recommended for students who would like to dive deep into the topic. But I would like to point out that the escaping of CO2 from fizzy drinks is not evaporation, students may get confused.

Thallium is disappointing. It’s organic chemistry is fascinating and several drug syntheses could be reduced by half the number of steps by using it, but it’s as toxic as lead (Pb) In its salts, and as toxic as mercury in its organic compounds. That’s partly because (unlike Pb and Hg) it can cycle between +1 and +3 states.
