Randomly thought of this song just now and had to remember the name of your channel. I can't believe how many years its been, it feels just like yesterday that I was showing this song to some friends.

This is a good cover from the New Order album Movement from 1981. Great video here as well. It would be a nice view of the song Chosen time from this artist.

This is actually really cool. You've been using loop-station before it became mainstream. This song is so nostalgic - it makes me want to go back in time. And thanks to this video... I kinda did...

wow. i really wish you went completely through the entire routing. like point to point of every line. im still confused. Like where is the Strymon Timeline? before or after Mobius? If your recording delay fx-ed audio, how are you avoiding the loop end cutting of the delay tail? The Ableton sends? what are they? are they the monitor and pa etc? either way why four sends?? sounds like your stutter edits are able to be looped. is that right? is that in Mobius or ableton? how? I really have so little idea about how this rig is working.

I bought one two years ago. It is in a terrible state and a couple of the keys are broken. Sadly the Patch C button is stuck. It looks like it was knocked to the side a bit so it can't be pressed down. May have to try to open the synth. It has the best keybed I have tried on any synth. I also have a Yamaha DX7S. Its battery is dead and it is a hassle to open and replace.

Can anyone enlighten me? Is this an original video for this music? Who made this hauntingly touching video? I demand answers, in the name of aesthetics. 🤩

This is a song about a tired soul that’s done bad but seeks relief by going to a holy place to seek relief and innocents.

Hi Ethan, I discovered your channel while trying to figure out how to create fixed-length sound-on-sound loops in the REAPER DAW. Unfortunately, I couldn't quite grasp the process, and some people recommended using the Moebius looper that you showcased. Like you, as an ambient music creator (SOLYARIS MUSIC), I utilized Moebius to craft loops for some pieces featured in the Mellow Stasis album (you can find the MP3 of the piece "Frogs Fall from Sky in the Magnolia Dales" on my site). Back in 2006, I used Moebius as a standalone program, and navigating it was a bit of a nightmare, despite understanding its potential. My question is: Have you come across any alternatives for recording fixed-time loops? My aim is to create continuous loops for subsequent sampling and processing. By the way, are you familiar with the Audiodamage ENSO VST or similar alternative simpler than great Moebius from circularlabs? Thanks! Giorgio

Hi there! Mobius was always a bit tough to use and often buggy but you're right, it had a ton of potential. Still sad they didn't continue development. I haven't tried Enso, but recently I have been playing around with Loopy Pro and Koala Sampler on my iPad. They're both fantastic.
