I don’t know if you’re familiar with the _Time Lord Victorious_ lore, but this actually fits in with it rather nicely. The Dalek faction in TLV is the Restoration Empire, which was formed from the remnants of the Imperial Daleks by a high-ranking Dalek who exterminated its peers and declared itself Emperor. And here, we see a high-ranking Dalek declaring itself supreme leader of the Daleks and exterminating its opponents in the aftermath of the Renegade-Imperial War. Makes sense for the Restoration Emperor to have regrouped on a planet like Spiridon and to have finished off any surviving Renegades before restoring Skaro (however that happened). Of course, like any piece of _Doctor Who_ media (fanmade and official), this video should be judged on its own merits rather than how it fits in to the complex and contradictory canon* of the _Doctor Who_ universe. But I do still like how this video can be interpreted as bridging the gap between _Remembrance of the Daleks_ and some of my favourite Dalek stories. *If you ask me, _Doctor Who_ canon is made up of every piece of Whoniverse media, especially the things that contradict each other. Yarvelling and Davros? Both canon. _Human Nature_ the book and _Human Nature_ the TV story? Both canon.

After experiencing the daleks for the first time roughly 55years ago, its great to see a resurgence in the interest in the daleks now. They used to scare the hell out of me when I was a kid, the ruthlessness of them ensured they would be part of my memory forever. LONG THE DALEKS, THE SUPREME BEINGS IN THE UNIVERSE, EXTERMINATE, EXTERMINATE, EXTERMINATE.

Before the History of the Daleks set 12 was unveiled, I was hoping that one of the Daleks in the set would be a Bomber Dalek from The Fourth Doctor Adventures set.

Very nice use of the SWD's expanded backstory from the Remembrance novelisation. I still find it intriguing that we got a reference to the "Time War" over 15 years before it became such a huge element of Nu-Who.

You should do more new series recreations but in Classic style.

You managed to get that weird 'South African' accent that the original Krotons had. That's simply awesome. I have a lot of affection for the Krotons - it was the first Doctor Who story I saw in it's entirety, in 1968, when I was five. I had seen the Tenth Planet Cybermen when I was three, but they scared me so badly, my parents stopped watching the show. Also, though I never knew it then, 'The Krotons' was the first Doctor Who story written by the brilliant Robert Holmes.
