Your previous 'Day' scene recreations were honestly whotube classics and this one is a welcome addition. I hope you can upload the previous instalments too (even if the recent drone figures were not present!) Like you, with these fantastic new figures I'm inspired to give the Day figures some love in FA form, and I think I've chosen a scene from the novel (and the one for Planet) that you've not yet done. I imagine you've covered most of the best scenes in the Day novel by now!

Ha ha! Yes, they were the first animations I ever did using Classic Daleks, way back in 2008 (which is scary when you think about it. I was in my twenties!) I'm looking forward to seeing your scene recreations. I have one more 'Day' one planned from the novel which I have never covered - it will be interesting to see which one you have in mind when it comes out! Nice to see you back again after your break. I can honestly say, I'm happier now than I've ever been with this animation lark, and having distanced myself from social media claptrap.

Thank you! I've always felt that the voices in 'Day' get a bad press that they don't really deserve. I've tried to replicate the originals in the two drones but, as you say, with more effective modulation. I always enjoyed the performances in 'Day' and wish both voice artists had been given another chance.

Love this reminds me of some of your old Day of the Daleks scene recreations. Would love to see some more redo's of you Day Videos like the one with the Emperor and the Mind Probe scene with that lovely Blue Dalek. Also got my fingers crossed that Horror of the Cybermen will be coming back this Halloween...

Thank you! No promises, but I can definitely see myself revisiting certain scenes in the 'Day of the Daleks' novelisation as an excuse to use the correct 'Day' variants. And I've had a number of requests for Horror of the Cybermen, so I think that will be making a re-appearance sometime in October.

Thank you. I agree - 'Day' is a vastly underrated story. It's one of my all-time favourites. It was the second story I ever owned on VHS, so it holds a very special place in my affections.

It really is superb. It's such a shame that a combination of poor distribution and greedy scalpers has meant that people are having trouble getting hold of them. I'm so glad I went out really early on Saturday last week and found the sets on the shelves. 3 stores near me have had no stock whatsoever, which is really poor I think. I hope you get one soon.

I've always liked the voices in 'Day'. The performances are actually quite strong, it's just that the modulation is not quite right.

Excellent animation & voices! Really accurate to the one where Nick Briggs re-dubbed it! Oh & nice one on grabbing the B&M Day of the Dalek set, did you manage to grab your copy, locally (from local stores) like I did? I only grabbed the one set, the others didn't bother me as much.

Thank you! I will certainly take that as a compliment, even though I hate Nick Briggs's re-dubbing on the 'special edition'. I've never had a problem with the original voices: the performances are spot on, it's just the lack of modulation that needed sorting. I've payed tribute to those original voices in the two drones in this animation. Briggs's voices are my least favourite in the history of the programme, but I know I'm in the minority there. I was, indeed, fortunate enough to pick up two 'Day' sets, along with the Sensorites and Keys of Marinus set in a local store. I wasn't bothered by the 'Power' set, as I have a number of the SFX Power Daleks, and they are far superior, and I did not want the mutant scoop variant. I have 5 B&Ms local to me, and only 1 had the sets in, so I was lucky!

@@mestormagnificent1550 Indeed, I was a bit lucky too. When I walked into my B&M store, I initially thought they're not going to get anything but, no, they had many of the sets! I only got the Day of the Daleks set.

I am surprised the gold chief Dalek did not reappear in Death to the Daleks Destiny of the Daleks or Remembrance of the Daleks this Dalek is awesome and better than the dreaded Davros the Dalek inventor who was only half Kaled Dalek in human form and half Dalek for if Davros had become a proper full Dalek like an Emperor similart to the Dalek Emperor seen in the comic strip TV century 21 it would have been better
