no corn starch for me
@inthekitchenwithmatt15 сағат бұрын
You can try flour or tapioca starch, the corn starch is essential to make the pudding get thick, so if you are not using it you need to use a substitute of some sort.

You said you found American cheese to be fake. They are two kinds of American cheese. One is individually wrapped, called American cheese "product". This kind is fake. I call it plastic. The other kind is called simply American cheese. It is not individually wrapped. Much better. Please be sure you are not using "product". Yucky stuff.
@inthekitchenwithmatt15 сағат бұрын
yes I was referring to the individual slices wrapped in plastic.

Why wash the skin if you're not going to eat it
@inthekitchenwithmattКүн бұрын
You always should rinse the skin of any vegetable and fruit regardless if you are going to eat the skin or not. The knife cutting through can get contaminated.

If you put raisins in cinnamon rolls, I'll call the police. Raisins are for children's lunches, not desserts.
@inthekitchenwithmattКүн бұрын
LOL depends on who you talk to. With that said I don't put raisins in my cinnamon rolls. But people can if they want. And many people will argue with you about that, especially me when it comes to cinnamon raisin bread. Others like raisins in their bread pudding or rice pudding. To each their own. Why should you care if someone likes raisins or not? :)

But then it wouldn't be an air fryer video. :) If you read the comments you will see where people's stoves/burners weren't working. Also lots of people have small flats or RVs that don't have a range, but they do have an air fryer.

Great video, i face a problem, which i would appreciate your help with. Every time i tried salting the cheese, it started breaking and losing more liquid and became cream cheese. How do you salt it correctly?
@inthekitchenwithmattКүн бұрын
How much salt were you using? Only use about 1/4 tsp and try and use non-idoized salt. I show salting the cheese in this other mozzarella video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZmanhauPlq1jj7M
@abedmassoud7402Күн бұрын
@inthekitchenwithmatt Thanks for the reply! I didn't measure exactly how much salt, but maybe a 1/2 tsp, but it was iodized sea salt. As for the other video, I watched, and it looks great. I'm looking to buy some rennet which I didn't find till now around me. But is it normal that salt ruins the cheese? It's starts crumbling and becomes like cottage cheese only when salt is added.
@inthekitchenwithmatt14 сағат бұрын
@@abedmassoud7402 You are welcome! I don't think it was the salt that ruined the cheese.

Does it have to be coconut oil?

That or cocoa butter. You can also try ghee, but other than that, no other oils will work. They won't firm up when cool.

Not really eggs are a fairly big part of it, but you can also try substituting the eggs with an egg substitute. A subtitute you can try is applesauce or silkened tofu use the same amount (1/4 cup) per egg.
