Thanks for the video. I purchased one and there is virtually no videos for maintenance, other than an oil change. I couldn't get my drain plug loose, so i had the dealership change oil, $165.00, still cant get drain plug to loosen, and i need to do another oil change. Good job!

You're right there's no videos out here for the bison 400. So thanks for doing this one. I was getting no error code. But the light for the shift position was staying on and it was flickering.Bright dim almost like a turn signal. Also, my fuel pump would come on for 5 seconds.Go off for about ten and keep cycling like that Until I disconnected the battery. Today I hooked it up to start it and when I Started it the starter didn't disengage. Now I have a code: P0351. So i'm thinking I have the same problem.

I always try to start with the most affordable options that could fix issues. Solenoid under $12.
@LawnmowercareАй бұрын
I had to disconnect the battery because the starter would not shut off. Originally you could just touch the disconnected cable to the battery and you could get it to start but as soon as you remove the cable, the engine shuts off. That’s why I tackled the solenoid!

Thanks for the video. 91301-Z9L-000 - O-Ring (19.1X2.2) - Honda Original Part. I bought an o-ring that was a bit wider 19mm inner diameter by 2.5mm width. The wider o-ring is working great.

Having the same problem on my 2015 T3000 24 HP same linkage as this video ,you would think they would put the better white plastic little square slide for the cable to slide as needed for Slow -to- Fast -to- CHOKE.... ,keeps bending cable, so i think like you did pull the cable as much as you can & tighten with a T-25 on a socket wrench ,. this video should do the trick to solve this simple stupid mickey mouse Linkage . - Thank you -

Got one $409 from LOWES, new, year 2k. Made in the USA and it shows...motor runs good but slapped on seals and assembly. Now looking for front valve cover seal and noticed oil weeping in same location as yours. Ist one went back to Lowes due to faulty under deck construction..small twigs get jammed under plastic to metal under deck, bulging plastic down till the blade strikes. We all got that issue that is just piss poor engineering. Somebody posted that flaw here on YTube. If the layer laps were reversed.. then NO problem. Has not done that on second mower..yet. Got 11 year old Chondas with no issues!

I have a collection of SAE o-rings and replaced with one slightly bigger cross section. The OEM O-RING (19.1X2.2) is NOT sized right from the factory, mine was perfect, no cuts, flat spots, ect. The steel valve cover is priced at $44 so be gentle poping that thing off! Why Honda used Honda Bond is pure stupidity for those who simply want to adjust your valve clearance? I used Permatex grey, local, but takes 24 hour cure unless you pay more for the 90 minute stuff. Went over and hugged my GX200 and GX390...

How do I know if my pulleys are good?
@Lawnmowercare2 ай бұрын
Pull the pulley brake back and spin it. If they spin smooth great. If you hear or feel rough sound then it’s bad. Another way turn on blades and bearing sound will be loud on either to both sides. Good luck!

Maybe I need to relocate spring just a little? I think the Holly’s are good. None broken like that one anyway. Bought the belt from a small engine parts shop/store. Maybe not oem, not sure.
