Thank you for this! Finally a video explaining the skipped stitches on the front post row and the singles on the current row. I have a pattern that says "front post around sc, move forward 3 stitches, front post around the 4th" but every other video I've seen explaining this stitch doesn't show the actual count of stitches involved in a single FPtc2tog, and I thought it was 4, not 5 (2 posts, 3 skipped stitches), and none showed how you move along the current row.

Thank you for this- it's a good explanation, and I feel like it's actually kind of hard to find things on planned pooling for knitting- the vast majority of what I can find is for crochet.

Thanks for this detailed video! I have some Icelandic yarn I want to full (now I know the difference) and this was helpful in conceptualizing what i need to do for sizing.

This was the best explaining i have ever heard. I have tried planned pooling in crochet and could only do it with a specific number of stitches in the tutorial because no one had explained well for me to understand how i can modify a number of stitches and still make it work.

Hello from France district of Auvergne and its volcanos. I have old wool coming from my mother and I don' t know if they are treated against shrinking or not. Is there à way to check it ?

This is an awesome video. Thank you for taking time to make this video. I was trying to figure this “felting” stuff out and have been having a hard time finding good information about it. This is great.😊

THANK YOU for a cohesive, well thought out and well produced video answering so many questions I had. I am sick and tired of content creators more interested in being in their own videos and putting bad music intros in the video which wastes everyone's time. Just subscribed :)

Do you tie off the yarn or weave in the end of the yarn.

Hi Erica, You did a wonderful job sharing all the felting techniques. I loved your hair analogy as a curly haired person it fits all the same strategies as hair as wool is hair to an animal. I liked learning about the different animal hairs as you did a great job describing it. Thank you and Iook forward to watching you in the future.

I knit hats and felt them. I just made one with 100% baby llama chunky from Cascade Yarns. It shed so much! I always put my knits in a zippered pillowcase in case this will happen. I also air dry them, and this one is still shedding as I run my hand over it to shape it. Could it be short hairs causing the shedding?

I thought the challenge was not to wash the wool garment, but wear it for 100 days.? I wear the same wool base layer top for longer than 100 days, and I have asked people if the smell anything, they say no. I do take a bath every other day. Wool is great.

Great instructions! I regularly felt/full old sweaters from the thrift shop and upcycle them into mittens. Sadly I have a front loader, but I throw lacrosse balls in the wash and it works well enough. I like the laundromat idea though :) Also as a side note, the bar in the top loader is called an agitator :) My next machine will be a top loader will a removeable agitator!!

Would you mind sharing what undergarments you prefer to wear under your wool dress? My underwear shows panty lines with or without leggings. I have many merino wool briefs and mens boxers but the waist band is so harsh for my tummy and the women's underwear shoes the panty lines on the bum.

Thanks so much for sharing your experience. I have a few questions. What do you mean by recycling the old cotton shirt as floor cushions? Which dress did you end up buying with your prize money? Do you own linen clothes? I ordered Ellie for the challenge. I won't be receiving it until next year.
