This is an awesome video. Thank you for taking time to make this video. I was trying to figure this “felting” stuff out and have been having a hard time finding good information about it. This is great.😊

Great instructions! I regularly felt/full old sweaters from the thrift shop and upcycle them into mittens. Sadly I have a front loader, but I throw lacrosse balls in the wash and it works well enough. I like the laundromat idea though :) Also as a side note, the bar in the top loader is called an agitator :) My next machine will be a top loader will a removeable agitator!!

Hi Erica, You did a wonderful job sharing all the felting techniques. I loved your hair analogy as a curly haired person it fits all the same strategies as hair as wool is hair to an animal. I liked learning about the different animal hairs as you did a great job describing it. Thank you and Iook forward to watching you in the future.

Thank you so much for all this information. Clear and instructive, probably all I need to try felting my little crochet project. And for the first time I’m glad we have an old washing machine.

Thanks for this detailed video! I have some Icelandic yarn I want to full (now I know the difference) and this was helpful in conceptualizing what i need to do for sizing.

Erica, what is your Ravelry store address? It should be there in your description for all videos. Thanks for the great instructions.

Hi Erica! New to your channel and will subscribe. I have never felted and am looking to get started (on a small scale) by making a wallet or something. Great information about the fibers to use and all that. I can't wait to explore all that you have to offer. Thank you!

I knit hats and felt them. I just made one with 100% baby llama chunky from Cascade Yarns. It shed so much! I always put my knits in a zippered pillowcase in case this will happen. I also air dry them, and this one is still shedding as I run my hand over it to shape it. Could it be short hairs causing the shedding?
