I understand what you meant. But sad yours kids naturally then think their ornaments and handmade ornaments "aren't pretty" even if you don't technically mean that's theirs isn't pretty. Naturally there's 2 sides pretty and not pretty. Just saying 🤔 can you imagine growing up a little girl and hearing your mom say now this is the pretty tree.

I love the look of the hallways, however my husband, a custom home builder in Colorado (now retired) says it’s wasted space. I have my own opinions on wasted space, my opinion is that 20’ ceilings are a waste of space, also a waste of the cost to cool and heat, and the other thing, it’s impossible imo, to furnish a room with 20’ ceilings to scale. Doesn’t mean that I can’t enjoy looking at the homes y’all build and decorate with items you’ve also designed and had manufactured. And one other thing……hi skinny. 😊

Any advice for painting baseboards and molding the same color as the walls? When to do it or when not to do it? Ceilings as well. Should you paint the ceiling when painting the walls? or should the ceiling be left out of the equation.

You never, ever put wallpaper in a bathroom. House my parents bought in 1977 had wallpaper in the bathroom. They died, and finally had someone come in and remove all the 70s, 80s wallpaper all over the house. We saw the mold underneath all the bathroom wallpaper and closet wallpaper, and laundry room wall paper! It was awful and shocking. My friend saw thing! Parents bought house in California in 1979. Parents died, she's redoing interior to get ready to sell. Popcorn ceilings out! Flat panel doors out. Both bathroom is had lots of mold under wallpaper. Just don't do it. It's a huge negative if you have wallpaper in your home and putting house up for sale. Buyers want it gone, and all the walks te-textured and painted
