I was able to see the " BUDGIE " at the majestic theater in San Antonio back in the day. Was removed by the police for some reason but just bought another ticket and went back in with my long hair , handkerchief around my head " HI " as the sky , back in the day .

Probably on a New Sounds radio program in the 80's or later that I first heard this but I bought Bush of Ghosts when it came out on reading a review in Stereo Review. That was the web then.

For example "we" means "I" or "their" means "his/her". *Polysemy, "burned both this world and the next" = "we lost both this world and the next".
