I was so happy when i got the teleporter. Even tho it was expensive it meant i could build a warehouse in the middle of nowhere and build my base how i liked it without having lockers everywhere

There's a mod from ModAPI that lets you increase the inventory cap for the items. You may say small inventory is part of the challenge, but to me it means valuing more the free time I have available to play. It significantly reduces the times I need to return to base to stock up. There's another one I liked a lot too that lets you set more hotkeys for items. I hope I find one that lets you use a hotkey to put a cloth on the weapon 🤞

I still love this game, but yeah, if you don't, no need to try and force it

i’ve been playing the forest for a couple days straight this week and i’ve gotten both endings but i dread the day something like this happens to me whilst playing as i haven’t died once yet

Why can't I build a tree bridge?

I made it I think 45 ish hours on SoTF. I absolutely hated it from the start. Its not for me. I might play the forest again for old times sake but I think the series is just done and dusted for me.

If anyone has played green hell. You know how great it is to have an automatic water filter from collecting ash from a furnace. Hope to see them implement this one day.

Farket I’ve watched your videos for a long time but I really think your misleading people with this one. Sons is an amazing game with wayyyy better mechanics and wayyyy better looking. Just because the building is “hard” doesn’t mean you should give up. I’m a month into playing and I’ve build a massive base with intricate parts. The game is absolutely gorgeous in any section you go. It’s a fucking island there are gonna be trees and shit in your way. Don’t use the glider if it ruins it for you. You’re not required to use it.

The stupidest thing they did BY FAR is putting everything in underground bunkers. They could have made buildings hidden behind fences for the start of the game, give the glider later etc.. this makes the surface boring. They could,have made bigger beached ships, ww2 crashed planes etc.

I saw 2 cannibals died standing, I was in a bush hiding and 1 cannibal run up near me. then suddenly lie down flat. Took me a while before i can confirm that he was dead. No fighting just ...dead. The other one was chasing me near my base, then no sound. And found her dead. They didnt fall from a cliff or get burned by the fire. Like I saw the animation was , standing, then it lie down. Both was not attack by any chance. But both happen near dawn, when it was still dark

For that exact reason, the best place to build is the never freezing pond near that modern axe spot. Build some simple platforms as a bridge at first and make your home in the middle of the lake. Enemies will drown trying to get to you.

Got the game for a week when they do crazy discount, been only playing on peaceful mode until recently tried normal with console stuff coz I'm a coward lmao. I built a houseboat then built a base at fertile land exactly on your location. Never had any encounter at day 7, they seem to only follow the patrol route (across the river) at night and never even check on my base, maybe because I only use skull lamp and zero fire but idk. I watched your video on how they will always come to you, but I guess it only happen in harder difficulties. Now it's still a peaceful game but I could still watch them walking around at night for extra anxiety, kinda fun tbh
