I've only done 12 short videos on my channel. I would recommend watching them all as they are generally connected. The Basic paper marbling one would be a good one to start.

I am having trouble getting the paint to adhere to the bottles. I spray with alum a couple times.

Unfortunately glass does differ and some won't marble well even alummed. You could try rubbing over with methylated spirits as a prep for the stubborn glass

Paint is Jacquard Marbling Colors by Jacquard , no mixing required. Carrageenan and water mix depends on your type of water. I recommend researching paper marbling courses near you or asking local art shops for their instructions :)

Best to watch all 12 of my videos as they will answer a lot of questions. Search for paper marbling courses near you, I know there are marbling artists in Ireland. Get books on paper marbling out of the library. I use Jacquard Marbling Colors from @Jacquardproducts

Have been watching your videos, I’d love to try this technique especially for Christmas ornaments/ balls, I live in Arizona it’s quite hot in the summer, my question is … if I put it in the fridge then let it sit out to get at room temp, do I put it back in the fridge when done? Also is carrageenan safe to dispose in the sink when it starts going bad? Thank you for your time 😊. So glad I happened on your videos.

Yes when used to have the space I would store the carrageenan size in the fridge for weeks. Since it's seaweed I throw on the garden
