This was peak Medal of Honor, from the PC to the PS2. It made you feel like you are a part of the story, experiencing everything from the protagonist's eyes and making you feel like you are fighting in the frontlines and the shadows of World War II. And the music defined this series. I miss these kinds of games.

Came back after so many years. Liked 9 year old comments to bring folks back. MOHAA was my first game. Father played it, all my ubcles played it. Used to be in a clan, Xfire and freeze tag on Spearhead. There won't ever be a time like this again.

I remember shooting down the Kamikazees in the first mission, my Grandfather very plainly said: "I did that, although it was just one and there were no orders to fire, but I did anyway, because well- if I hadn't acted, men could have died."

I played multiplayer obsessively from around 2003 until the All Seeing Eye server browser program got shut down sometime during 2008. I am now a 31 year old man and I got teary eyes remembering the good times going apeshit john wick mode with the kar98k on Stalingrad TDMs. Everyone reading this who has shared this awesome experience of better times in gaming I hope you are doing well in life.

Helldivers 2 Soundtrack reminds me of this. Triumphant glory serving the ultimate purpose of fighting and dying for a country you believe in. Nationalism has stained history its true but you can't help but be nostalgic for it hearing pieces like this. This generation is lost with no purpose, so we cling to things like this hoping the memory of the greatness of our grandfathers will show us a path. Keep on keeping on brothers.

This brings a tear to my eye. When games had soul. When there was respect given to those that bleed and died. 80 years ago many made the ultimate sacrifice. May they never be forgotten. It makes me proud to be an American knowing that despite the turmoil that America is going through right now. We are only able to have these choices and way of life because of their sacrifices 80 years ago. They fought to stop Fascism before. And we will do it now.

Hearing other sources use this theme outside of the game feels so awkward now. Whether it's for presidential, patriotic, or veteran related reasons.

I got goosebumps when I heard this song playing over the radio at the weapons range in MoH: Above and Beyond (the 2020 VR game). I thought it was a very pleasant easter egg for veteran fans of the series, and a touching indication that the devs themselves haven't forgotten what a powerful piece of music this is even after 20 years.

Oh my god... My childhood. I'm 22... And no. I don't mean my childhood like 11 years old or whatsoever. This is literally my childhood. 5-7 years old. Nah.. it's insane i'm this old already. It's also insane how fast my childhood passed. I still come back to play this game occasionally, but it will never be the same. I will never feel the excitement of almost blowing up at the last map, i will never feel all the sneaky stuff at the snowy maps again as much as i felt it as a child.... Melancholic... All i feel is melancholia.
