There is an error in your stitch count. You went from 30 to 50 when you’re increasing by 10, it should be 40 correct?

Round 11 for a medium with an increase after every 9 stitches gives 5 increases for a total of 55 stitches

And in the written pattern it starts out saying 9 stitches then in the next ( ) it’s says 7. This is confusing

Since this is the USA please also include the US size crochet needle since we are NOT metric! I am so tired having to look up a chart.

This company also covers Canada so here we use metric I know it's a bit confusing but learning the millimeters can come in handy :)!!! Btw a 3.75 is known as a "f" in American letters

Video for swatch says chain 27 For 26 sc. Pattern says 22 sc. Which one is correct?? KZbin or pattern?

Both, you want to measure the middle of the swatch to get 22 sc inside the 4 inches. I’ve noticed some like to just measure the 4 inches exactly and some add a few on either side so that it doesn’t bunch or shrink the sides.

The pattern says that gauge should be 22 sc in 4". Typically, when you make a gauge swatch, you should do a few extra stitches so that you can measure only the stitches in the center of your work. The stitches on the sides of your project aren't the same size as the ones in the middle. In the video, she did a swatch with 26 stitches and then measured 4" in the middle and counted how many stitches were in those 4". She counted 22, which meant her gauge was correct. I hope this helps.
