I know this video is old but I really want to point out how well written the forced outing of Nico was, it wasn't written as a good, positive or even necessary thing Jason himself said how cruel it was, Nico wasn't okay after it and even threatened Jason It was so clearly said by Jason to be a HORRIBLE situation, Nico got lucky Jason was kind which also means a lot to me as a lesbian, Nico is a very unlucky person, any time he gets a slight win it's taken from him or replaced with a punishment almost for being happy So this? This working for him? It means so much because he expected the absolute worse, I relate to that heavily, I love that it worked out for him and started his healing journey and support system

when the world needed her the most, she returned!! would love to see your thoughts on PJOTV (and the one year anniversary of it seems like the perfect opportunity for the video!)

12:28, I like that. You articulated how I would prefer a series to play out. That’s a far more satisfying serial story.

Thanks for the reading recommendation! I've been looking for a good book with Lunar Chronicles vibes and The Dividing Sky sounds interesting, so I'm adding it to my TBR immediately.

I would love your thoughts on PJTV! A lot of the communities I was looking to share thoughts with were being really negative, so I think it would be really refreshing to hear a more joyful take

When the world need you most, you returned! Personally, I would love to hear your thoughts on the PJO series, since you're on of the Percy Jackson reactors whose takes I tend to agree with the most and I'm just really curious what you thought of it. P.S. Since you last posted a video we've both started going by they/them pronouns lol

I wish I could use the cook book but I'm vegan... are there any Grover focused recipes I could possibly eat?
@LiteraryPrincess2 ай бұрын
There's a couple! The Blue Smoothie uses almond milk and almond butter, Sally's Seven-Layer Dip can be made vegan with a plant-based meat substitute, there's a vegan soup (Fasolada), eggplant dip, and patates lemonates. The book even refers to the vegan recipes as satyr-friendly, which I love.

0:57 The Miscommunication. It can be annoying and classed as a worst trope, but it happens a lot in real life though. It is quite a dark grim reflection of something that could have been sorted in an instant of two parties just talked to each other, without letting things slide so much that everything comes out from a petty situation. It is hated because people hate to see themselves/ or someone they know who has been through this. It goes on all the time

Are some of these characters from the Heroes of Olympus series or something? I just finished PJO book 5 and I’m still asking “who are you people?” when I see cosplay and fanart and stuff featuring characters I haven’t met yet 😅

4:23 YES, like, in isekai romance it's a big thing where the protagonist is cheated on by the original "mc" before she isekai'd and when she gets upset shes a "villainess" makes me so angry.

Meg acts more immature because; 1) yes, she's a literal child. that's how they are; 2) we're seeing her through the eyes of a 4,000+ year old god, while the others were all seen through fellow 12-15 year olds. of course the demigods are going to "act" and "look" more mature - we are in their POVs. but in reality? they really aren't *eyes how the Seven acted in New Rome* 3) Meg acts immature because Apollo is a *safe person* - she *would not* behave that way around Nero, her literal abuser. Apollo is *safe* for her to *be 12* around, and as much as he complains about it, he's honestly not bothered by it. And to add to it, she rarely uses her control over him. She doesn't abuse that power. She IS rather mature for her age, because what normal 12 year old WOULDN'T use that kind of power? Meg's a lot smarter, stronger, and mature than people give her credit for, but because she's "annoying" she's suddenly unlikable. god forbid women do anything, ig

Id say one of my unpopular opinions is that jason is a great character, and hes actually really funny,,, but people always compare him to percy and other than being big 3 kids, theyre really not that similar, so ppl will always be comparing like "oh, i like this trait in percy, but jason isnt like that or shows that trait in a different way, so hes worse percy" when he just has different traits and is his own character,, i really think if it werent for so much comparing between the characters, ppl wouldve seen hes actually a good character,,,,, also i dont think the amnesia helped him, bc i wont lie, in the first book he was kinda mid, but ppl treat him like hes the most vanilla person bc he didnt have that much life experience and stuff to draw on in the first book from his pov,,, but when he doesnt have amnesia, hes great,, but ppls perception is still coloured from when he was,, yknow?

You summed up my thoughts perfectly. Something is here but more action, world building and character interaction would have gone a long way. Overall not bad. Gonna listen to book 3 soon
