I finished the book about a week ago and I haven't been able to stop thinking about it, the world and the characters have consumed me in such a way that it's just, I can't believe I liked this more than cemetery boys (also I annotated my book and like a solid third of said annotations are just calling Teo gay whenever he's simping over Aurelio just unprompted)

Niya literally said 'no hetero' at one point 😂😂 and I think dezi and Marino are basically together too. I totally missed that xochi was trans, but i did think niya was coded as trans :)

Just finished this book and found your video, LOVE your review!! I wish more people were talking about this, especially with the depth, care, and fangirling that you do! And what do you think about Xio being [redacted]??? I guessed he might be and that’s why the semidioses were acting that way, but it was like a crackpot theory and I need to know what happens now!!!

I prefer for someone to try and fail (you did great) than simply translate. Also I love that you used latine (I have latinx mainly cause it has no basis in Spanish, Portuguese or French)

Hey! I was wondering if you've ever heard od a book called 'suicide notes'. It is a novel by Michael Thomas Ford. It is a very good book! I have read it before and by the end, i was in tears ... There are suggestive themes such as suicide and self-harm, so i would tread carefully. Wish you the best!

Love your review! Two pronunciation things (only for your info, not chastising, I promise!) only because I listened to the audiobook instead of reading a physical copy- Teo is pronounced Tay-oh, and Xio is pronounced Chi-oh.
