@@SouthernStyleLawnCare Yeah reverse for sure. I wonder if a smaller pulley on the pumps would speed it up. Or if you can adapt bigger 14-16cc drives. I'd probably leave ruts tho.

There is another way ... get you some 1/2" conical washer (cup shaped) they are about 2" outside diameter. Sand the inside of the washer, sand the face of the bump head. Now center the washer and mark it. Then put some silicone sealant on the washer, mash it flash, wipe off the access. Let dry overnight. Total expense about $1, no drilling, no nuts an bolts to add extra weight to a string head that already weights just over a pound. Did this this past summer on my trimmer and while shiney, no head wear.

Easier way is just pock string straight through then twist to get even lengths.simple.no messing twisting string around.

@joejansen6465 my ramps are longer than my old trailer. It's a little steep but not bad. I generally use my utility trailer to bring tractor places but this one works well if needed. The fold down sides has been a game changer.

Thanks much for this video, just bought mine one day ago pulled ‘instructions’ and figured I’d be on this for about two or three days. Your vid was the first one I pulled up and now I’m figuring with gathering the tools taking off the hooks and rope ties I have installed I’ll be about half a day, after all I do need time off for a cold one right, oh not beer but a ginger ale or iced tea. also as a foot note if I only put one on, this thing cost me $200.00 plus tax so I’ll sell the other one and re our half my money. And thanks again Just came up with my first problem! If you monitor this video on a regular basis in yours as will as gorilla’s instructions it says 1/4 inch from edge of railing. I have a 6x12 flatbed at 1/4 “ the back piece will be bolted down in the wheel well and yes I will cut the bolt down but even so my wife and I most of the 5pm put a full+ load on. Also I have an eye bolt on both side that we have used on a semi regular basis. So with this what problems would I run into if I set the gate lift about 7.5” back from the edge any help please

Please also add info on exactly how to tune the H and L on these presumably 4-Mix machines. I just tried an adjustment and I find it a bit different from ordinary 2-stroke chainsaws. L-adjustment is very easy. These 4-Mix engines have a different max RPM though and i find it more difficult to hear when they are just slightly on the rich side as they should be.

My first stander started on a gravely. All I could get was an 18 hp was in 2020 wanted a Scagg from watching all the KZbin videos. Everybody praising the Scagg finally found one at a dealer put my gravely up for sale after using it for a year it sold I bought the Scagg, and the disappointment started very uncomfortable. The only party your body that hits the pad is your knees because it’s so far forward up top. The rear tire constantly dragging when you’re trying to turn even on the slightest of inclines, tearing up my lawns anywhere that I could go without a problem with the gravely was impossible to do with the Scagg had it for a year just traded it yesterday for the Ferris what a difference With the pivoting front end, it is like night and day. The Ferris hasn’t lost traction even once on any of the steep inclines that I do here in New Hampshire comfortable, ground controls are smooth and easy to operate ..what a mower I like that trailer trick thanks !
