Ferris Z3X crawling some hills!! Do not Try this at home..

I think I am sold when it comes to ztrs and standers to go with Ferris and Snapper Pro. I have used a Snapper Pro 200 a good bit and its a great machine. I have seen a lot about the newer commercial line from Cub Cadet too and they seem nice. So my big 3 for ztrs would be Ferris, Snapper Pro (same thing as ferris) and Cub. But, I am just not sure how well a ztr could handle my lawns. I have a lot of hills. i use a x540 Deere GT currently and really want either a x7xx series or a 1 Family tractor for the versatility.

I got a new Grandstsnd this spring. Everyone says they are amazing on hills. They must all weight about 130#. We put a 60# counter weight on the front. Now it will side hill like a maniac but still won't do it and down. We do lots of ugly hills, they never video well to show how steep they are. Nice machine, might have to look into one of these.

If your doing hills ferris z3 is the one. Grandstands are terrible on hills in my experience

If your mowing hills Wright ZK or Ferris Z3, anything else recommended is a product pusher.

Tomorrow im fixin to tackle a hill thats every bit as steep as that ,if not a little steeper and at least 10 times taller than that.

Did that hill today. Was a little leery about going down it or up so i went sideways. The Z3 stuck like glue. This machine never fails to amaze.

Wow the Ferris really can climb some hills!! My turf tracer would've been doing willie's up that hill!!

One thing is for sure. Prostance36 does not handle a hill like that. You lucky dog!

Short steep section. The tall drop off is only like 8 ft wide so can go laterally.
