Listen, for it's not great for combat, but Talon Strike is SUCH a good mobility tool. Ever since I saw shadow of the orc use it, I've never gone back. Instantly clear 300+ ft as long as you're above the landing zone and your view is unobstructed.

I completely agree with shadow strike pull being useless. I only ever use it for certain warlord end battles pulling them up top side rail with me for one on one. I'm surprised you view proximity trigger as useless though. I use that quite a bit as it saves on arrows. Also depends on player. I typically use intel to exploit weaknesses. So i'm always looking at surroundings for what I got to trigger at fight starts. I would agree as well with shadow strider. I thought I would like or use waters of lorien the most, but it was actually just annoying. Dashing when I didn't want to. Rocked hammer of eregion for quite a bit of the game, but switched to eagles eyrie and I like it and use it now. Good video. Thumbs up.

I got a legendary defender commander from the warmonger tribe with the advanced class of a trait and the epic follower trait. I ended up purchasing a defender follower upgrade, and the end result was I had essentially a Cabal of Spartan orcs wherever I needed them. Those guys were so fucking cool.

The fact that you COMPLETELY missed the fact that EPICS can be farmed for specific traits is slightly disturbing. I guess I need to make a guide now, seeing as no one else seems to have done so. Gear can be manipulated based on the type of kill (ranged/knife/sword/execution/ground finisher etc) and the type of elements and fears that captains have (mortally flammable = fire gear, no element = Might gear, Fear of Injurty = Lifesteal gear, etc)

You can resurrect multiple times I think, but they lost more levels each time. 5 levels per resurrection I believe, unless they changed that since I last bothered with that skill.

Talon strike allows you to travel huge distances if there is no enemy to shadow strike to.

What I wouldn't give for a sequel with the polish of Bayonetta 3 or DMC 5. And a way to shift abilities in real time. Maybe custom load outs, a bit like Dante's styles. There's so much room. They did the right thing already: Grob Poison, Double Parry. They took things you had to unlock in game 1 and made them core abilities in game 2. They KNOW /how/ to make a sequel, and JESUS H, does this game both deserve one for being amazing, and NEED ONE FOR THE HOEING THEY DO OUR BOY.

I super picky about my orc lol. And my favorite raz upto. Rage orc, he wins most of his fights he gets raged by curse and fire 🔥!. So it fun when he gets fight then goes ham when enraged. Has extra damage, he has cool scars to.

Even with the best situation possible… archers just stand around and disappoint in the pits. If I made any balance changes, they’d at least start with one bolt “in the chamber” so to speak.

Something I figured out after my thousand and first play through: the AoE upgrades are an overt downgrade to the respective ability. You trade unresistable concussion damage for an elemental attack that does nothing if resisted by the captain and his advanced gang members. Worse yet is triggering their anger for no real benefit. As long as you’re capable of generating one might bar, Olog captains simply cannot kill you. You just ground pound and go for a ride. Rinse and repeat. Side note: critical dagger throw has a sliiightly longer end animation time and requires extra consideration when fighting the hordes of Mordor on harder difficulties. The fan throw cannot adjust for height like the other two. The first two daggers of “brace of daggers” will each apply the effect on your dagger slot whether that’s might on hit, arrows on hit, or the element of your choice.

Yo. Solid advice on doing a millionth play through. Been there, done that! I can’t get enough. Just a suggestion: the shoulder charge is one of the biggest boons to the early game when you don’t have the level up abilities yet. Way more efficient than the stun punch for maximizing your enemy control despite the cooldown. I can see you spent plenty of time in the first game too with all those grab-drains. Man I can’t stop gushing over this absolute gem!
