One slight error in the Breachers. The Shield Drone only increases the Wounds characteristic of the Sergeant of the Unit. So the Shas'ui is 2W but the rest of the unit is 1W

The Storm Speeders definitely need to go down in points, but frankly I don't think the Invader ATV or Outriders can be solved with points alone; they need some kind of rules boost. The extra attacks on the charge that the Outriders used to get would do the job, even if they go back up in points again.

For fun I’ve been building tactical squads, but comparing them to bladeguard I must be missing something because on paper when you add a librarian to the tactical squad VS a naked full BGV it seems remarkably equal with the tactical squads coming out on top in a number of ways. 220pts for 11 models vs 180 points for 9 (20 points a model each) Both have t4 with a 4++ but tacticals have a 4+ fnp vs psychics 24 w vs 18 w Melee, BGV have an advantage, but shooting tacticals easily wins out. OC 21 vs OC 6 If we want to allow a BGV a character a number of these stats still don’t swing and for the same price you can buy a Rhino for the squad to sit on an objective. Why won’t it work! 😂

I got 6 boxes of Reivers when they came out. They had a decent profile on their pistols with AP -2. My problem then was their combat Knives gave an extra attack. They should have had at least AP -1 instead. Incursors, a dedicated shooting unit, with Paired Knives got AP -1. I feel those profiles should have been reversed, imo. Now in 10th, they got WORSE?! Their pistols are AP -1, but gained Precision and their Combat Knives still have no AP, but also gained Precision. I've since slowly converted all those models into either Death Company, cause those helms look sick after for DC, or scouts.

Shocked with the cadre fireblade comments. When added to a breacher squad with a guardian and gun drone he increases the shots from 22 to 42 (when he is equipped with 2 gun drones). Cadre fireblade with breachers in devilfishes have become even more useful in the codex now that the volume of firepower from triple cyclic ion blaster crisis suits have gone (and starscythes are a very poor alternative, useable but not on the same tier as the old triple cyclic crisis even ignoring the overcharge profile). Overall I thought your suggested list was quite good and was a nicely balanced list. It's likely the points come down quite a bit in a few days when we get the codex release mfm points update. With many existing units likely to go down to the last mfm points rather the codex points which are the same as the points at the start of 10th edition, eg. Breachers and pathfinders likely to come down to 90 from the codex 120. Still best to use codex points for the moment as that's all we're got. Fast melee armies are always an issue for Tau. The best solution is cheap kroot carnivores and hound screens combined with deepstrike / reserves so the assault army can't charge your whole army in your deployment zone turn 2.

I liked that you first pulled up your favourite inspirational art as you are right that is likely where it all starts for the majority. It'll be good for future other armies videos to do the same along with any favourite lore/fluff sources which have inspired your builds...!

Miphi and Dante damage should be D3+1

My issue is i want to play my Sang guard in a meaningful way. Even if it's one unit of 10 sang. That's all i want really. Dante is useless compared to a Captain with jump pack and I'm not even mad about it. It's annoying as fuck, but its ok.

My only complaint about the video is you didn't highlight Starflare Ignition in Retaliation Cadre. It's the best enhancement in the book IMO. Great Video otherwise.

The setup / teardown time of the terrain seems a bit of a drawback. I feel they should have used the old kill team arena stuff. Much quicker to set up and easier to carry. Just a bunch of doors!
