Bairstow's setting of 'Veni Emmanuel' works very well of the Friesach Organ sample set with your imaginative registration choices and your brilliant performance which is overflowing with artistry: bravo, Paul! (The acoustics of this sample set ensure great clarity; you probably saw Voxus Organs announce that they will be sampling the York Minster instrument, so in the future, we may have the opportunity to hear you play this piece again and in a a massive acoustic that may not provide the same immediacy as this recording . . . but may sound as Bairstow might have heard it!)

Flemish Bach - and really beautiful for that! I still marvel at how Flor Peeters could create such beautiful 20th century music that contained the timeless essence of JSB - if only I could do the same with my own compositional efforts! Thanks, Brooks! I felt the Cornet on the Solo division was too strident for this music, so used a combination of stops on the Swell to create a slightly softer cornet effect.
