This is very exciting news. It would seem that if meat could be grown in the lab, then there might be no limit to what other foods it would be possible to produce "in vitro." It gives hope to putting an end to world hunger, though I think we can count on human ingenuity to come up with ways of assuring that suffering continues in some form!

If you are an international student, after taking the Japanese Language Test for International Students, you will take the Common University Test and if you pass the borderline, you will be qualified to take the test at the University of Tokyo.

What's more interesting is when countries violate their constitution. E.g. In Canada, the trucker convoy caused the govt to freeze protester's bank accounts & impose martial law.

憲法の魅力と重要性をとてもわかりやすく解説していていいと思いました。 私の周りの人に憲法のことを言うと、難しいから知らないという方が多いです。 私自身ちゃんと理解できているわけでもないし覚えてもいません。 でも、重要なことを判断するときは、スマホやタブレットにも憲法を入れて憲法を見ています。 お話を聞いて、他国の憲法にも興味を持ちました。 ありがとうございます。

現在のシステム生物学の理想の生物のモデルをコンピューティングで分子制御する見込み、数年内にみたいですね。 でないと量子や素粒子の限界以上に制御しないと生物はシステマティックではないという私の持論の勝ちですが。

大変な神経の集中力が必要ですね、杉森玲子先生凄い 。江戸時代の地震、火山活動の研究…。私の近所は、岩手宮城山岳地震では栗駒山がとても崩れて現在ジオラマとして地震跡地が観光化してます。絵巻物は江戸の町の有り様を記録させたのですね、自然災害はいつの時代も容赦ないですね。

とても有意義な研究ですね。 先日知ったことですが、江戸の大地震と関東大震災の火災について研究している方がいました。 彼は、東京と千葉の地下にあるとされている天然ガスが大地震の時に発生し、その火の温度を調べていました。 関東大震災の時の記録には写真もあります。 鉄が熱により溶けていることから、おおよその熱量は地割れなどにより噴出したガスが影響していたと予測していました。 江戸の地震と大火も関係するかもしれません。 地震や噴火の歴史的資料を文献から辿るということは、未来の研究へと紡ぐとても価値のあることだとわかりました。
