It really sucks that both those links in the bottom of description are dead...I tried searching the Naples newspaper site for this story, but only got regular articles. I don't know why people can't just let all this information out. We can handle the truth. Thank you for posting this.

It is no any UFO. It is the same simplified air drone with the compressors (the edge holes) with the lights like here. Constructor - Charles Henderson (The very known chemist of Pentagon from the Tomahawk cruise missiles project)... kzbin.info/www/bejne/i5-4oX2tatiUnsk

Think it's time for a lot of these newer fire truck to add on those New Rumbler Sirens That I have been hearing about......
@thm4855
@thm4855 10 жыл бұрын
A Silwa - I agree with you. The wailtype sirens is not going good through the body of a car with dieselengine as I have, because its more stuffed with isolation agaisnt noice and vibration. The "old" electrick sirens are better in a city, because they break through the trafficnoice. So the Rumblertype is more welcomed for the people that maneuvers the big firetrucks and ambulances, the police in their salooncars dont have the same problems.

thm4855 Just noticed after watching this a number of times to change the tone of the siren he has to really reach to his right to flip that switch I used to do ride alongs with my local sheriff's depart and whenever we ran Code 3, to change the sound of the siren, the officer just hit the middle of the steering wheel wher the airbag is located and that changed the tone of the siren right away, much easier I think that what he has to do here.....
@thm4855
@thm4855 9 жыл бұрын
Andrew Silva I hope the "changedivice" is not located in a way that the driver has the device smached in his/her face if there is a collision andthe airbag is set to blow up by its sencors.
@pizzasubs
@pizzasubs 9 жыл бұрын
thm4855 That part I dont know about, all I remember is that when he had the siren going, and when he needed to change the tone of it, he just hit the middle of the steering wheel and it changed just like that
@thm4855
@thm4855 9 жыл бұрын
Andrew Silva Maybe there is now collisionpillow in the steeringwheels senter, but what I see - he is waving a hello at 4,23 to the meeting ambulance, which is not legal when you,re in an active respond class 3,which means you are breaking the speedlimit - you,re driving against red light in a crossing and you,re breaking all trafficrules, this is in accordanse to the norwegian rules I was taught.

Now I'm believing that if you got a more important call, you would definialty would leave this one, go to that one, but then would come back here again and finish what you weren't able to do before you got the more important call?????

This is a fantastic view, get to see everything the driver of the truck has with all of the buttons, levers, etc, what would be absolutly awesome is if you ever had the chance and I would really appreciate it a ton, if you could maybe doa short video if possible describing what all of the buttons and everything is inside4 of this rig..,,,,,,,Thanks......

Right around the 4:55 mark when you came up to that intersection, even with all your sirens a going, cross traffic still never stopped for ya, really hate when that happens, guess you dont have those remotes in your trucks that when you come up to intersections with 4 way traffic signals, with a push of the remote you can turn all the signals for all directions Red so you can have the right a way for your truck......also really like the push button shifting you have on the truck, makes it a lot easier to shift gears, now just imagine if they made that for manual transmissions vehicles, when it comes time to shift, you press in the clutch pedaql and push the next correct button for the next gear......

the buttons for sirens are placed wrong. should be near the driver. ThM - Norway.
@Paul.atherton
@Paul.atherton 10 жыл бұрын
not necessarily should be the officers job not the drivers. the driver has enough to do with driving to worry about sirens .
@AQLandscaping
@AQLandscaping 10 жыл бұрын
Paul Atherton They should be in the middle of the doghouse just in case the driver goes alone sometimes. Most newer trucks now have a "smart wheel", which on the steering wheel, has buttons for the jake brake, the siren, airhorns, and Federal Q if the truck is equipped with one. This is much safer for the driver. We've had a truck on my department wrap around a tree due to the driver trying to work the siren across the doghouse and drive down a small road at the same time. Little things can save lives. Be safe brothers.

No the engineer usually has his pants on but it's easier and safer to drive without their bunker coat on
@AverageReil
@AverageReil 10 жыл бұрын
Angelo Gonzalez Also, in some departments, the engineer doesn't wear bunker gear period. Some are strictly engineers, and by that I mean all they do is drive and operate the apparatus once on scene. I know a couple of engineers that put bunker gear on maybe once or twice a year for training or on days when they're short a few people, but otherwise they don't actually "fight" the fire
