Did it exactly like that on my long hair and it ruined my hair. Growing it now. Just trimmed four inches to try and catch the lengths up to each other. I’ll never do another pony tail haircut again. I probably just have the wrong shaped head for it.

I’ve been a Licensed Cosmetologist, since the mid 80’s (😱). I was also a salon owner, and an Artistic Educator ( Hair shows, workshops, in salon education, etc. as well ( pre- KZbin). I often found that it was the experienced stylists that feel they don’t need much explaining. They may not remember when they were new to the industry and needed info/techniques broken down and explained a bit more at times themselves. Sometimes we all need that! Point is: You aren’t talking too much. You’re simply educating those who want to learn. You just keep doing YOU!👏👍 🙏✌️🫶💇🏼‍♀️💁‍♀️

For those who have thick hair, but is anxious about the result, trust me it's gonna look good! Give it a tryy! Usually when i go to the salon and ask then for haircuts like these, they are extremely reluctant to try on my hair. But this tutorial has helped me a lot! Thanks again!!!☺️
