OMG I just realised you are in Kettering, where I was born and grew up AND your salon is where I used to work in the early 70's when it was Barclays Bank. I now live in Staffordshire but my sister lives in Rothwell and is a mobile hairdresser LOL!!!!! Btw, I am 73 and have past shoulder length hair which needs cutting!

So silly to say once you reach a certain age you have to cut your hair a certain way..usually short! I've had long hair all my life and i will die with long hair 😂✌️🙏❤️🌲

Love it...suits us gen X ladies in our 50s......I loved the Jacqueline smith from Charlie's angels cut....Farrah's was great ...if you can do a long cut simpler to that for me..I would love it...

No offense but am gonna be 50 in April and would never cut my hair short… having healthy long hair is me( yes I change up my long hair style) I didn’t know people or women just can’t Rock what makes them feel good, beautiful and like themselves… It’s doesn’t always have to be monkey see monkey do… It’s kinda boring when everyone starts to follow these imaginary rules and everyone starts look like clones 😬🤪🤦🏻♀️

Not everyone is lucky enough to have thick healthy hair past menopause. If you aren't there yet... you will soon find out

@ That has nothing to do whatsoever what I said… I will be 50 in April and went through form of menopause in high school and beyond… I was ballet dancer and later on keep working out… lol my hair is gray white now if didn’t color it… women want nicer hair eat healthy for your age and don’t drink alcohol and smoke… I was talking about how people say older women are to cut their hair short because of their age… and said wear your hair the way make you feel comfortable beautiful and yourself… So if you hair changing do to age work with it… but not because someone told you had to have short hair…

I’m 61 and have never heard anyone, including my hair tech, suggest I should have short hair. My hair is a little below my shoulders. I also can’t have hardly any layers as I have thin, fine, crappy hair. I see other women that are in their 50’s and older whose hair isn’t short.

I won’t cut my hair. I grew out from a pixie cut, now waist length . I just can’t figure out what to do with the front . I don’t like my hair flat in the front. . I like the poof . But haven’t managed it yet !

In your fifties if your hair is thinning it looks better with a shorter haircut honestly.

What did going o hurt do for your sisters mental health? I am a mom of a trans woman. I love and adore her bravery. What would Leah suggest is the best way I can show my daughter support?
