Would this cut look okay if u did a side part at the end of the styling instead of a center part? Or would it end up lookin kinda funny and over weighted on one side?

I have very curly hair, I was wondering if this'll work as well? My main concern is the curls and how my roots tend to be very flat. I'm looking to do a bob with bangs, or at least that is what it's called. I'm not well versed with the terminology. I also intend on learning to cut my hair at home because I've found myself dissatisfied with the people who cut my hair that don't generally do curly hair. T
