I thank all that's great that I was born at the right time, to quote Billy Mitchell, when music like this ruled the roost and nit the pap, crap and rap polluting the airwaves today.

I heard this song for the first time more than 42 years ago. At that time I had just started my service in the navy and was serving on board. We had MC's and the famous Walkman, I listened to his music “up and down”, but especially the song “Sebastian” The Lord will give him a special place in heaven

This popped up on my YT feed out of nowhere. They do justice to the studio recording, which isn't always the case. This was a worldwide hit including top 5 in the US. I don't think they were heard of after that outside of Holland. I do remember a song called She likes weeds which was a hit in Holland, but I don't it had much success elsewhere.

They has many, many hits in Europe !!!! And also in Turkey, Russian and the Arabic Country's !!! Two hits in the USA !!! 👍

Back then it wasn't, he was just gay. The video is from the 1908's. The singer Peter Tetteroo born in 1947 died in 2002 of live cancer, a very sad day. I knew him and the keyboard player and co-composer of this song Hans Van Eijk, who was my music teacher in high school.
