its insane how much the media lies about him. His game was solid.

L i v is a joke.... doesn't even seem real looks more like an pro-am than a real tournament. The other issue is the shorts, really? I suppose all the pro sports should just wear whatever they want.... funny thing almost all the golf courses want you to wear a collared shirt but then you look at the amateur Liv folks and no collars... WTF

Only allow players who have won on the LIV tour play majors. Then the PGAT players will change their minds. 😀

No way they should have to pay back money. Liv and dp do a deal. Pga go it on your own. Bye bye.

Hilarious that PGA fans try to assume the the PGAT has the stronger position. They are across the table from a guy who has $700B at his disposal.

I think LIV would do well to create their own Opens on various continents. A US, European, Asian, and Australian would be pretty cool to see. It might help them expand their global market. After all, three of the four majors are currently in the US. Lots of eyeballs out there that aren’t getting catered to.

Someone down on the money list, “what about the money I lost?” Simple. They wouldn’t have made any of the money and would be 275th on the money list if they were still playing.
@russellhoguephd79254 күн бұрын
It’s really simple. The best players on the PGAT would want LIV players in the field as often as possible. However, the bottom half of the field, realize that they may not have a card. There would be 30-40 players that would lose their card if LIV guys were playing more often.

Here's a thought, fans want to see the best players competing against each other! Then why so much support for LIV? Fair enough, a lot of players, in their autumn years, wanted a huge pension, great, and some rookies plumped for a massive income, which was not available to they, on the PGA tour. All that said, while talented but struggling players are forced our of the professional game, by high costs, massive amounts of money is being spent on a few multi millionaires!

In union terminology, LIV players are scabs. They broke rank for money. F em, they made their bed, suffer the consequences. Make them go thru qualifying and Korn Ferry like anybody else. I am deadset against letting them back in.

DP World tour should get their heads out of their a#$%s and the best players play the Ryder cup. Host sponsors should get in on the act and invite them as sponsors picks. LIV has put more money on the events played by the other tours.
@rickroche5835 күн бұрын
I am not sure I am with this "just get on with it" stance. There were a large number of players who decided to stay with their Tours. Stay loyal and not take the money and run. Fact, not emotion. Many of those players will not now be able to play in events where LIV players are allowed back due to restrictions of the size of the field. Fact, not emotion. The affected players will find it far harder to earn a living by not being able to play - On the other side; LIV players can just come back, having been paid crazy money and give a crap about anyone else. That cannot be right - Opinion!

Cant even get my hand into a drijoy XXL glove. Using Jumbomax Xl wraps on woods and st8 xl wraps on my irons. My fingers are slightly open on the regu;lar upper hand and touching on the st8. Lot of hand issues and chronic tennis and golfers elbow are eased by these grips.

In the real world we don"t care about LIV or PGA golf only thing that matters in GOLF is MAJORS nobody is living and dying over regular PGA or LIV tournaments. LIV should start there own MAJORS and everybody stay in the lane they choose. NO CROSS OVER and let the public pick what THEY want to watch.
@johndavis26535 күн бұрын
you are spot on..... the LIV guys took all the risk and the rest have reaped greatly from that, so just get on with in. Just another point, Rory should have been even more grateful as it gave him an opportunity to win something with some of the best out of the way. Didn't help did it

How about if you take Saudi money you never get to play in the PGA again Because we know what Saudi is, and we should not have anything to do with them until they fix their human rights violations.

Who cares if they reach agreement or not? I for one am more than happy watching what I want to when I want. Liv is trully global, they take their players to many countries and I like their format. PGA players not happy about Liv golfers getting big bucks want them to pay it back? Boo Hooo, some of them had their chance and knocked it back, then they heaped ridicule on the Liv players...so as the old saying goes, make your bed you can lay in it!!

We love the LIV format and watching on their LIV+ app is awesome with absolutely no commercials (gladly pay when advertisers expand to keep watching on the app) we have attended many LIV events in the states but would love to enjoy it in some of the exotic places like Singapore or Australia.

The PGA players have no say in anything.. they never have, which is why LIV was created… could it be that the real delay for working out a deal is because maybe the PGA’s books have been cooked for years and now they’re trying to figure a way to get out of getting caught?

I never watch PGA Tour events, I've tried a few times like when the Bryan Bros were playing but, there was no way to watch them only featured groups and what they did show made me feel like I was in a retirement home. I'm flying out tomorrow for my 3rd LIV event this year the Team Championship. I live next to Quail Hollow and didn't go to the PGA event there but I've been to LIV Nashville, Greenbier and now Dallas.
@chaselleprice28335 күн бұрын
We love LIV as well and have taken our kids to many events over the past 3 seasons. The music isn’t as bad as the haters claim plus you only need a tad more than 5 hours to enjoy the entire tournament while at the PGAT we use spend 10+ hours. Haven’t attended a single PGA event in over 2 years and we use to go often due to residing in Florida. Enjoy Dallas!

They took the risk? What an incredibly stupid statement. No many of us don’t want any deal with LIV. Norman and Mickelson and all the players tried to destroy the PGAT. LIV is failing and the Saudi Prince has created some major economic problems for his country with his absurd Neom project. I’m quite happy watching the current PGAT events and players. Whether Dechambeau is in the Presidents Cup or Koepka is in The Players Championship is of no interest whatsoever.

So leave Jon Rahm out and bring the rest back then negotiate separately with Rahm if that is what it's going to take to get the deal done. The LIV players destroyed their career golf legacy in exchange for insane amounts of money. That was the trade off. Their quality of play has suffered massively with the exception of Bryson.

They didn't take a risk. They took money. They absolutely did not take a risk. They signed a deal that clearly wasn't going to give them any freedom or opportunities to play majors and ryder president cups in exchange for CASH. They didn't take ANY risks. The conditions were clear, they took MONEY. Up front.
