are there any neutral reviews about this product? before buying I want to see any of these... seems like a good deal but too expensive for just buying it without having tose reviews (in my opinion)

I love your point about being able to enjoy the water in the same way other places with surf do. Foiling is the answer!

Some awesome! I don’t think it’s ever going to be crowded. The barrier to entry is to high. Maybe in 20 years…. I remember when I bought a Onewheel it was incredible fun and still is. I though they would be absolutely everywhere by now 🤷♂️

I think you’re right. Even if it gets popular it doesn’t need to be concentrated in one area.

83kg bigger guys...ye sure...
@RoamFoilsАй бұрын
In the Pump Foiling realm 83kg is heavy. Without an external energy source, we need to pump our weight to stay up. Up until recently this sport wasn’t possible for me. With these new large wings, now it’s possible. Next we will have pump foils for 100kg+ people.

if it looses satellite when over water it relies on it`s sensors which don`t work only on land. think you lost the gps satellite link under the bridge.

The boffins at the DJI head office would be surprised at how you pulled that off.

Its like somebody sat down and said hey what is the dumbest and least convenient possible way of travelling across water and they came up with a surboard but you have to dance or you fall in 10/10 only in north america could you find something this insane
@RoamFoils2 ай бұрын
Hmm..maybe you’re right and I should quit cause you think it’s too dumb?…OR…Maybe you’re wrong and it’s actually way more fun than you imagine? Considering I do the sport and know it’s an amazing feeling and doesn’t need to match your expectations, I think I’ll stick with it.

Be careful with this drone. I've been watching videos on how this drone performs over water, and it's bad. So, I tried to only fly it by the beach. Guess what? Even just by the beach, with no water below, right after it took off, it drifted quickly sideways, far from me, and I almost hit a person about 30 meters away! I couldn’t do anything, it was completely uncontrollable. I couldn't even land it, and it all happened so fast. The sea was very calm that day.
@alphasportstv3 ай бұрын
Nice vid :) Good job on saving it. I tried mine for the first time yesterday, mountain biking at a ski hill near Montreal...sadly also a fail, the drone parked itself 5x on a short 5 minute descent, still analyzing the footage to figure out what spooked it! I'm guessing the slope of the trail somehow messed up the tracking, but it never crashed into anything, just lost me and parked. Cheers

Pump Foiling! I did not know about this. Cool, but really silly looking. It's like the Segway of water sports.
@RoamFoils3 ай бұрын
Yup, it’s a different way to move. It takes some getting used to. Peoples style vary as well. As with all new sports, there will be the awkward years;)

seems to do badly over water, even when its used on a estuary with the tide fully out, ie a 2k hike to the water line
@stankozniewski93853 ай бұрын
It catches the reflection from the bottom sensors and thinks its supposed to land, its a common problem for water, best to fly with a controller connected you have better chances
