If the wings were swept back to make them more streamlined, would it make pumping really hard because of the extra vertical stability? I'm just wondering why the wings are always cut so straight across the front.

@richardhefty, basically, because the speeds are low. Picture a fighter jet wing vs a sailplane. Pump foils are more like sailplanes.

What do you think of this setup on the small waves of the St. Lawrence River which are not constant?

I’m not familiar with St Lawrence. Is the current noticeable? Generally this thing is made for small, slow moving waves and or flat water.

Hey man, loving the videos and your 15 minute ride is insane. Which Roam kit would you recommend if i wamted a great all arounder for pumping qnd riding swells and behind boats? I have access to beach, dock, qnd boat starts. I do not plan on kiting or using wings. I weigh 170 pounds for context. Also, the art design of your boards and foils is superb.

Hi Evan, thanks for your feedback! I think you will love the Roam Universal Kit. That’s the foil setup I use most of the time. And the Pump100 board gives you a little more room when you’re learning to dock start.
