What about balance weights. My dad in the old days would would lay weights around the tire to center the bubble. It seemed to work. What you think?

Shouldn't you be hearing 2 pops, 1 pop per bead side?

Why not use a 12 volt cooler with a mini radiator a recirculation pump instead of a sump or bilge pump . It would be lighter

will one of those little electric pumps you plug into cigarette lighter of a car be enough to fill up the tire and seal the bead?
@eager400
@eager400 3 ай бұрын
Yes but you need to make sure the tire is somewhat sealed on the rim otherwise the air will just leak out.

Question if I may, will a 316ti compact drift wel with a welded diff? If not, what BMW would you recommend for a reasonable price? Hope to see your reply 😊

What a fucking legend. This is literally everything I wanted to know considering welding my e46s diff, especially the conditions under which the tires sequel. Much appreciated.

Does this scratch your alloys when putting the tyre iron against alloy and the tyre I mean the force pushing against the soft alloy ?

I thought I was the only one who used that Harbor Freight tire machine just for bead breaking. I will not scratch up my wheels with that thing or pay $200 for that duck head mod.

I think everyone should get along because irl or sim we all love drifting. And when both irl and sim drivers have put in a lot of money to there drifting hobby. It’s tends to get like we try to justify the route we choose. In the end we all just love to drift. Let’s get along and have fun

I dare you to try this on a 15" or 16" Pick-up truck tire. I've done it, but used tire irons and LONG cheater bars,...

don’t take the back bead off like that unless the sidewall of the tyre is that skinny it will be MUCH harder and take a long time and LOTS of strength

I got really close but couldn't pull the tire off. That steel brlt was just super tight. Tried almost 2hrs. Broke the beef using the jack, and tire spoons got the front lip off with ease

I always turn the rim face down. That way all your pry-bar work is done on the inside (unseen) lip of the rim, as you're removing the old tire. Face down again when mounting the new tire as well. This way your pry-bar never comes in contact with the 'finished' front side of the rim.
