How do you orient your troops? I think you need to push in the center, using your Stugs, lots of 105mm artillery, and the darkness of night, you can try to get to that little forest, and also you expand your control of the oil rig hill.

It was known that French dockworkers whether as part of organised resistance or just acting individually would attempt to, and successfully sabotage U-boats and their equipment, U-505 found itself the butt of jokes over how frequently it had to return to port due to acts of sabotage. Ammunition can just fail, especially if it's not made to a high standard or has been stored and handled neglectfully or abusively, but I imagine it's not impossible to deliberately crush the propellant grains to increase their surface area such that they produce dangerously high chamber pressures by tumbling them for extended periods of time, though whether one could slip a problem shell out of and then into a crate unnoticed is another matter

Make the skipper laugh himself to death after observing you with his periscope and deciding that even the deck gun is a waste of ammo?

will the game even simulate a gun exploding on the player's bote?

Mannschaftsmanagement: Man kann die Namen der Abteilungen doppelklicken, klicken und rechtsklicken. Doppelklick: Die Abteilung wird (soweit möglich) arbeitsfähig besetzt. Klick: Markiert die Zielabteilung für Personal, anschließender Rechtsklick: zieht das Personal dafür aus der Abteilung ab. Dieses Vorgehen spart eine Menge manuelle Verschieberei. Thank you for another immersive episode. I so look forward to these. They're like weekly television episodes with detailed audio commentary, which is the only way I can enjoy such media. It's nice to see in this episode the humanity shown in war sometimes. We're all human and cannot help but be affected by the suffering of others. It always reminds me of that moving scene in Das Boot where the young master-sight officer broke down and wept at seeing the men in the burning oil from the sunken tanker.

I don't comment as often as I should because I usually watch your shows on the TV app. However, I set a reminder to check in and express how amazing your content is. Seriously. The main reason it's so good is because it's clear how much you love playing the game, taking on the role of the captain and crew, and making these videos. I've been watching and lurking for a long time and need to comment more often, knowing it's good for the KZbin algorithm and your feedback. To summarize, your channel is one of my favorites on KZbin. It's where I like to end the day with a cup of tea and unwind. I love how you incorporate roleplay into the random events in the game. Sometimes I forget that the game AI isn't as smart as it seems-it's your roleplaying that makes the enemy actions believable, like how you created a roleplay reason for losing your chief machinist. Awesome stuff. Despite the game being about 20 years old, it looks beautiful, thanks to your mods. This is by far the best subsim out there, and you're my favorite subsimmer on KZbin. Please never change your format! We don't need facecams, silly thumbnails with reactions, or Twitch live streams. This channel is fantastic!

Can you not acquire and use Soviet equipment in this game? I don’t exactly recall how often they’d use Soviet equipment in real life but I do know if at least a few cases. I have grown to love this game. Haven’t played it myself but I really wish to do so. Can’t right now, real life obligations has me working 10-12 hours every day all week haha 😂 But once that’s done I will probably pick this game up. I wouldn’t mind financial supporting the developers if that would lead to them adding multiple countries and many battles both major and minor of WW2 and even before that (probably would be a different game) Imagine having a campaign of Italy invading Greece, battling the Yankees and British in Malta and mainland Italy, the entirety of the North African campaign, the winter war and so on Soviet-Japanese border clashes in Mongolia would be awesome too. Major major urban fighting in Stalingrad, Hong Kong, Wuhan or any other major city siege in that war would be crazy interesting. And maybe they could add supply chain management? Or is there already a task for that. The early war Japanese campaigns in south East Asia would be very interesting too. Ha-Go light tanks blasting down dirt roads with poor infantry hauling ass constantly to keep up while they route the British colony troops, Dutch, Australian and American forces. That would be a exciting game. Instead of off-map artillery you could maybe have plane bombardment or ship artillery blasting locations that you’re sieging. Hypothetically you could invade Australia or India as japan etc. the possibilities are endless. In conclusion I’ve never seen a game this management driven and I love it. It has its charm, same as many games do. If I could be the general of the many battles of the Second World War that would be awesome 👏

Exploding deck guns? Is that historical? I've read a lot of books on the Battle of the Atlantic and none mentioned any problems with deck guns. Love the capsizing ship. This OneAlex edition rocks!

Barrels can really be damaged in this game/mod or is it just a message for fluff? Could you in future put a disclaimer if game supports such things ( like food suuply... )? Im not much familiar with it but I like to watch your videos and im asking myself if that game is really that complicated or its just a stuff for immersion?

apart from the first one, the other 3 were cruisers...

since when did subs become battleships that they need more than one torp to go down...this one was clearly sinking after taking a hit on the bow and was dancing around for so long...
