Maybe the Anet lore team are the geniuses you claim and maybe not. One thing is clear to me: Anet needs to hire you asap and the future of GW2 story/lore will be bright. Thank you so much for sharing your theories and insights.

I'm still hoping for a new race :(. I'm glad that we get a new expansion, but I feel that they are just recycling the current content and packaging it in a better, more colorful package.

I'm still hoping they expand player housing/customization in the player homes instances too!

Dead game. Not worth it 25$ with very few features. You didnt even improve the graphics.

I just started playing this again and IMO GW2 is a remaster gone wrong, I didn't know enjoy playing 2, it was just too different from GW1.

You probably get this question a lot but i will still ask: will you do what you did for last 2 wings? Progression full clear stream on release day? With other people talking in it? Your 12 hour long clear of wing 6 amazing with all the jokes and discusion that dont make you not focusing on the game as is often the case when you read chat in more recent streams you have done here. (If you ever continue the SotO live run it would be great if you get some party members that would help you not miss anything as you often did so far (Or spend way to much time trying to find it). Also will there be some lore summary of SotO? Even if you only read the books from wiki it would be really interesting

I've just binged my way through this series and it's a fab listen! You said you didn't have any plans to cover post release maps; I'm sure this hasn't exactly climbed higher on your list of priorities in the last 3 years but would you ever revisit it? Early Living World or HoT's maps maybe!

For what it's worth, the extra GBA content doesn't seem to be rated that highly among the FF6 fans? I could be wrong of course, but I didn't see a lot of positive buzz about it in the years that followed. So hopefully it's not that big a deal that it's missing here, although certainly it'd be nice to have it included so the player can decide that for themselves.

Secrets of obscure was so bad it made me quit GW2, COULDN'T play more than 2 hours

If they do a remaster of GW1, I would hop on it in a heartbeat. I stopped playing GW2 after a year of playing it because it didn't feel the same even with better graphics and I believe largely it had to do with the feel of GW1's degen/regen pip bars and instant damage gain/loss system. it really felt that combat was fluid and timing of spells/skills really mattered. Also the ranged characters felt useful in the back row and the tank felt useful in the frontlines. GW2 took all that away because every class was expected to be zipping around and dodging, which didn't feel right. GW1 was a massive part of my childhood growing up and I truly hope ArenaNet can breathe new life into GW1 via Remastered version.

There is nothing they can offer to convince me to deal with raids and the assholes you encounter inside them, I've tried multiple times over the years to get into them and the hostility is so offputting that I've written raids and anything similar to them off for good. Locking story elements behind raids was also one of the worst decisions anet has ever made.

I hope they ll do the following in the update: no purple drops or tomes from hm chests, buff elemantalists & nerf mesmers dmg penetration, new rare item to change attributs on green weapons, make the xunlai upgrades cheaper.... Aaaaand of course a new cool elite dungeon 😅 Not much effort (except the last one) to do this and it would be a way to change up the meta again

WP hears 'Celes is a good spellcaster' and really just forgets all about physical attacks forever, huh? Oh no, these enemies are resistant to magic, better use even more MP to deal with them. Again, the pitfalls of commentating. Loving the playthrough though, the commentary is great and the game looks better than I thought. I might get this remaster after all.

Do you think that they are T-ing up the Kodan to be a surprise new playable race? Like allied races in WoW? Similar to how the griffon was a surprise. They seem to be fleshing them out as a race a lot.

I don't know if WP ever comments on it, but you can really see how much Terra changes after her Trance incident. She still has her insecurities and she's still a gentle soul, but she's not a doormat or a damsel in distress anymore. Nice to see.

I'm really hoping for homesteads, they have more ways to get furniture besides a profession to craft them. Like some of the assets used to make the dungeons (crucible of eternity tables / props, etc) from a new vendor beside the dungeon vendor, using dungeon delving currency to purchase them. (could be an asura fascinated with furniture, using their asuran 3d printer or something lol) Same for Raids, maybe even pvp/wvw items to make your home more homey for all the styles of play gw2 has to offer. (Specially cultural furniture, so you can make your home more charr themed, full on norn themed, etc~) Edit: Off Topic, but Imagine a guild hall set in the mists, kinda like the mistlock sanctuary, or one set underwater, whenever they do something with that mechanic lol

"legendary...backpack" - i'm not aware of any "backpack" item type in the game. There is a back item (if you search backpack on the wiki it links to this) and many of the back items have the word backpack in them. We currently have 3 legendary back items - fractal, pvp, wvw, so i'm guessing this would be an open world option? Also there are many bags (as WP implies at 11:32) But only a couple have the word 'backpack' in them, e.g. Starter Backpack and Hero's Trusty Backpack.
