You put it back up! I was never going to listen to this album again if it wasn't your version. You've done wonderful work, thank you!

I'm so glad this is back up. I lost hope of ever hearing this again after checking every couple of months for three years. Looking at the comments it looks like it came back up shortly after I packed it in.

@@shlomopolonsky I would absolutely love that! Where can I reach you?
According to some sources I found online one states that originally Roger Waters was going to put out an album called Spare Bricks It was going to be an album of the songs that were either added or rerecorded for this film but only those tracks due to the fact that 80% of the film score was tracks from the original album. Because there wasn’t enough of those tracks to fill a whole album Waters was going to add some new songs he’d written to fill up the album. Waters then hear something political on the news that made him angry and he scrapped the idea to do an album that express his current angry and that was The Final Cut. Granted allot of the tracks on The Final Cut were tracks that were offered for The Wall but Bob Ezrin rejected them. So I guess you could say the Final Cut was The Spare Bricks Album.

I would not hold The FC as The SB. Spare Bricks ended up only as an idea that never materialized, that's it. The Final Cut became self standing album that, yes, has some roots from the Wall project

This is amazing. I didn't know that such a thing is possible. Could you possibly tell us how to do this?

My favorite album ever..(this Version)

I think this is my favourite of these live anthology collections.

Approaching the five minute mark and the sound is really terrible. Which wasn't the case for most of Shlomo's anthology by a long shot. But this is archetypical bad bootleg sound. I've been listening to the series nonstop and looking forward to the last one; the Cows are very special to me. So no knock on the effort, by any means.

Yes, the first track here is quite rough to hear, but I've decided to include it cos it's great.

@@shlomopolonskyBy track 6, when Annemarie started playing her trombone, the sound got much better, but only for those two tracks. My big gripe is with Henry Kaiser on March; I think there's a version on every video. The tune is in 11/4 and I think Henry plays it in 5.5/4 (evenly across measures).

@@Snardbafulator oh, I love March, i's a great tune! And each time it sounds differently. btw, I've found their very last concert, in Milano, complete recording! Audience is rather chatty, but bearable)

@@shlomopolonsky Fred loved his "fake folk" in Art Bears and in his solo stuff, but March might be the only Cow tune (not counting covers and the Slapp Happy collab) that's almost entirely diatonic, and major, no less. It's this jaunty little melody that's jarred by the time sig which drops a beat. Love it very hard ;)

So much better sound than the previous mixtape. Sounds like a sound board recording.

Love this version of Ruins (from Henry Cow Concerts) so damn much. I wonder if Frith's tune Ruins is what gave Tatsuya Yoshida the name for his first band. Certainly his intensely Magma-influenced bands (Koenji Hyakkei in particular) also do their share of Cowlike free-form improvisations.

interesting to listen to the two versions of "give birth". the film version sound like a PF single from the time like "point me at the sky" while the slow down version on the LP is precursor of dark side and "Brain damage".
