Ordered a pair of these yesterday. 1st pair of Dr. Martens, and I super excited to wear them.

They look good and are functional, and reasonably price with great quality. Some people ask if it's good for working people, but I tell them the working-grade boots are heavy because of a sewn-on outsole, thick soles, thicker leather. The Hero Boot is made for city streets, like NYC or LA, business casual, and street wear. I ordered a size 9 medium, so I'll tell you how they'll do for me.

My old Dr Martens need replacement...By far the most comfortable shoes I have ever had. New Martens for me, hope reeders will walk as good

i have solovairs and they are considered to be more premium than doc martens. the issue of the brown leather going through the made in england dr martens can be solved with black shoe polish, but others consider it charming. like some jeans and converse sneakers look better the more you have worn them.

Is there any breaking time with the soft leather

I’d say Doc martens, but mine are very painful at the stitching on the upper and the tongue😓

I went to small with my first pair+ I am a 6.5-7 (I was closer to a 6.5 at the time) but my feet are wide. I went for the size 5 🤦‍♂️ dont ask To small I now have 6 in different colour- fit well

Dr. Martens 1460 always for me ❤️ I'm a Dr Martens SuperFan 😁, Doc's are super tough, none of my pairs have ever let me down despite the fact I beat the heck out of them and prefer the well loved look and the character it gives them, so I never clean them either. Also, since I got my first ever pair of Docs in November 2011, my Docs have always kept me safe, upright and enabled me to walk normally on icy footpaths that we've had over the years. Love them to bits I do, my favourite DMs Leather is their grainy soft Leathers, I'll wear Doc's for the rest of my life, can't get enough of them 🥰

Yeah, I've heard people complain about the quality and company outsourcing, but this is how proper care of the boots look like. Take care of your boots even if you only own one pair and they'll last you forever.. keep up, man! 🤌🏻

Docs are a corrected leather with heavy treatments on top. Thats how they get that finish. Try the actual boot type they're based on. Corcoran jump boots are a smooth finish, but tougher.

Docs are just- bad. Cheap leather, bad construction, low durability. When you are ready to try some Big Kid boots, let us know.

I've been wearing my Docs in really slowly and i have to say i really like how they're developing not only are they getting very comfortable they're developing a signature shape (how my feet and ankles bend and stretch) I'm doing the same with my Solovairs.

Give it a break mate. Go review other things for a change.

If you want to decide between Solovairs and Dr. Martens there are two options: One of them are the real Dr. Martens and the other ones just have the name Dr. Martens, but in a terrible quality from asia. Solovairs are closer to the original DM's from 90s and earlier. The boots all the guys in my youth loved so much because of getting one with your feet. They were comfy as hell, that they've worn them even in hot summer days. The Solovairs are great, long lasting quality boots from a very old shoe manufacturer in britain. I got a pair for two years now and they're fantasic! Wearing them on metal concerts, weddings, in the office and on the fields with my dog. One thing more. wear them in rotation with one day off, use wooden shoe trees and a quality leather grease about every teo month. That makes them last longer!

I’ve owned Docs pretty much all my life and I just got the Japan exclusive green stitch (to die for, I love them so much) and I wanted to do a bar lace on them, but I’d always struggled with other methods of lacing when it came time to tighten them because you basically use one lace to tighten the whole boot but then you get that super cinched look that just isn’t my style. This method works beautifully and my docs look so pretty. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
