good work on the drone footage. what polarizing filter do you use ? im about to start doing a pt river/outer harbor drone cruise, and want to get crystal clear water shots like you do. I got the mini 4 pro about a month ago. Good platform for such things. Any info would be greatly appreciated
@UltraVibeProductionsАй бұрын
Hi there! Happy new year. The polarising ND filters were acquired from Amazon, the brand is Freewell and there's four different filters of different strength included. ND8, ND16, ND32 and ND64. I pretty much always use ND8 for both midday AND late afternoon flying (before sunset), which is more than enough for me. The DJI Mini 4 Pro has a different size camera than the Mini 2 and therefore uses different filters that aren't compatible, but I'm sure the filters for that drone could also be found on Amazon and other sources.

The greater Adelaide metropolitan area resemble a micro-mini version of Los Angeles. Adelaide have a suburb already named Pasadena- all it needs to complete the illusion are more palm trees along its avenues. Just 1 tip to avoid sticking out like a tourist- keep the surf board at home.
@UltraVibeProductions3 ай бұрын
@@JO5-y1k We also have a suburb named Belair, which may or may not contain a self-proclaimed Fresh Prince of some variety.

A city that size should have more high rises downtown. It is spread out with medium sized buildings, like a large suburb.

Good to see Adelaide starting to grow up . For decades it became stagnate with no change. Im surprised there is no one complaining here about they dont like change and want Adelaide to stay like it was in the 1980s lol

Hey mate! I was also looking to get some footage from the same areas around Adelaide (Kent Town & Parklands), just wondering if you needed to obtain any permission or a permit to fly in these areas? I've had a look on OpenSky and it appears to be in the green, but though I'd ask just incase. Cheers. :)
@UltraVibeProductions4 ай бұрын
As long as you follow the usual CASA rules (keep the drone 30m away from people, don't fly at night, etc), then recreational flying is allowed in this area without a permit or license. It's a shame most of the CBD and Western suburbs are off-limits, due to the airport being so close, but there's plenty of other great areas in our metropolitan area to flex some droning muscle.

Demolition of the original Adelaide Aquatic Centre is now underway. The Entry and Change Room buildings are now gone, now the main structure and pools will be next. Can you please take footage of the progress until it's completely gone? ;-)
@UltraVibeProductions4 ай бұрын
That's a good idea, but unfortunately the Aquatic Centre (North Parklands) is located in a recreational drone pilot no-fly zone.

@UltraVibeProductions5 ай бұрын
It's an excellent vantage point, which really shows how much the city has grown and developed in the last 5-10 years. There's a cluster of Adelaide's tallest buildings in the South-East corner of the CBD, framed against North Terrace and the vibrant Eastern Parklands in the foreground. Nearby Kent Town, as prominently featured in this particular drone video, is also rapidly growing with two high-rise buildings under construction that will accomodate a lot more residents in the near-future.

Correct - The Freemasons "Keystone Tower", which is planned to be 187m and 37 storeys tall, was recently approved by the state commission assessment panel. Built directly behind the Grand Lodge on North Terrace, it will feature Adelaide Museum of South Australia’s History, a Westin Hotel and a three-level observatory with sweeping 360 degree views.
