15:14 I like both. On the battle table, it gets the vibe of the coming battle in the overview. However, the armies on the planning table gives the impression of the army being corralled on the battle barge. The mat also helps in this regard. Thank you sir and I can’t wait to see the rest of the battle.

Awesome armies on both sides, and a very cool battle. Glad to see that the WB player sacrificed enough puppies, kittens, and other small creatures needed to restore his legions luck after their last battles. … though that Land Raider Spartan of his, man. Absolutely beautiful, but it appears that wax from its candles must be getting into its treads and gumming up the works. The only reasonable explanation for why it gets immobilized so frequently.

at 51:58 when james is talking about not being able to fire weapons that get hot, I think that's only for blast and template weapons. pg. 239 "gets hot and weapons that do not roll to hit" in the age of darkness rulebook also after watching a bit more, rending attacks aren't treated as AP2 for the purposes of the vehicle damage table. they use the weapons normal AP. Core rules page 246

Hey Paul! Just a reminder that phased plasma fusils are AP 3. This means that the Myrmidons and Thallax can't make armour saves when they get hot and must use their invuln!

Paul, nuncio vox's come in the box for the heavy support squad, they are made from the tactical box set which is comprised of 2 5 man sprues and the extra sprue that has the pistol holsters, grenades, and the nuncio vox and the vexilla. And since both of the 5 man sprues are identical they come with the two indents on the top to fit them! Justice for one heavy weapon boy who lacks his skype box.

No i felt this whole video in my brain lol. Recently put together the same box and it was rather odd trying to figure out the new sprue...... My one brain cell was working overtime on this box. Really started to kick in to high gear when it came to trying to piece the combat patrol into the army box and getting them "correct" 😂😂😂. Just finished painting high Marshal helbrecht.

I know this is a mostly narrative focused channel, which I greatly enjoy, but I've got a question in regards to the rules: Are you aware that the core assault phase reactions are declared after the charge has been rolled (which can admittedly be a bit gamey at times)?

Man, I don’t know how you guys do it, but your battle reports are so consistently cinematic as hell, and really showcase the awesome potential found in 7th edi… I mean, uh, the Horus Heresy exclusive ruleset. Probably dark magic of some sort, but I can overlook such minor things. Especially after coming off of 10th edition, because while the game is probably/hopefully more “balanced” than its ever really been (I’m probably lying though, knowing how the meta probably changes , in the process a lot of the actual wargame/narrative aspect has taken the backseat. Because as agonizing as it was to see my cool awesome vehicles popped on turn 1 by a melta, or having my super cool dude I spent hours painting get mulched by a single dude with a power fist, it also made those turns of sheer awesome all the more beautiful to behold.
