Maybe you ignorant little f**ker dont understand the art of Judas Iscariot. If its not your taste, its fine but your bullshit hating has absolute no style. Very low level here!

They were as successful as UFO although I much prefer UFO. I couldn't stand Biff's tight silver spandex pants. That was a massive turnoff to many folk. What on earth was he thinking?

Mercenary their weakest album? Oh, no, far from that. Mercenary is one of their finest works, from begining to the end, and this is a very objective comment. The production is a bit muddy, but it does not lack bass, not at all.

Nonus Aequelibrium is the title of the record. IX = 9 = nonus (Ordinal: nōnus). Aequilibrium = A level or horizontal position, equilibrium. (figuratively) A perfect equality, reciprocity.

WORRRRRRRRRLD EAAAAAAATEEEEEEEER !!! There are lots of excellent metal acts, none of em embodies war like BT does and none probably ever will. They were the soundtrack of so many WH40K games. BOLT THROWER IS WAR !

My first Maiden show. January 1987 at The Spectrum in Philly. An absolutely amazing experience for a 13 year old kid.

Saying Ad Majorem is a bad album might legitimately be the most deranged take I’ve ever heard. It’s easily in my top 3 Gorgoroth albums and is a gem in the black metal genre. Track for track, it’s one of the heaviest albums in black metal, period. It’s a fucking unhinged sound.

I thought Tool fans were intense. Holy shit, Opeth have next level fans. Must be a prog thing. Banter aside, Opeth are fantastic, each album has something to enjoy.

I like dunkleheit and his vocals are raunchy killer , but he’s a fuckin dildo really, I was more interested in darkthrone.. they were an enigma to me, the first five, minus soul side, were almost impossible to find thanks to shitty distribution, and peaceville putting them out of print cause no one fuckin liked that shit in America at that time that they were released I guess, fuck. So burning doesn’t do shit for me, just. A guy experience w playing w instruments.fuck varg

Ray Alder is a very good singer, but John Arch is an absolute outstanding singer. Nobody (except maybe Geoff Tate from old Queensryche) hits the higher tones like John Arch does. His falceto is mind blowing. Listen to the "Winter ethereal" album of Arch/Mattheos. His voice is unique, I even love his "na, na, nanana, na nana" singing on the best fates warning album ever: Awaken the guardian! the power ballad "Guardian" is probably my giant song not only from FW, but amongst all metal songs I ever heard. Ray is nice to listen to, Arch is stunning!

Wheels of steel what the album that got me into rock, I only listened to instrumental stuff, Tomita, Vangelis, and then someone played me motor cycle man, and at last I have something in common with Lars. 😋😋

I’ve attempted to write a song using a Bolt thrower influence and had to toss it out. Their sound is so unique it’s extremely difficult to implement their arrangements and riffs without sounding like a ripoff. That’s a testament to their original sound

I agree with your review of Parallels. It was a hit or miss album. I'm glad you like Disconnected. Its an overlooked album in their catalog. Still Remains is Top 10 Fates for me. I like both singers. It's Art, so I don't really compare. They both had their highlights. What do you think of the latest album, Ling Day, Good Night? I think it's a return to form.

I saw these guys back in the day on Vine street in Hollywood!! Had to be late 80,s early 90,s. The heaviest most powerful band I have ever seen. The PA actually caught on fire ! 🔥 not kidding literally did ! They are the most original band I have ever heard also. Something very theatrical and different about these guys. I have always been addicted to there sound. I love and appreciate you guys very much. I’m also from Florida!!
