PST88 (stands for Pussy Tight 88) does not have Phil on vocals, you were right. In fact, Diamond Darrel is actually on vocals for this track. Just an FYI.

You should review the cowboys from hell demos. They are incredible and Phil's vocals are super clean on them

Proud To Be Loud was written by Marc Ferrari of Keel. DOWN BELOW is Pantera covering/re recording a song from previos album with Terrence Lee. Dimebag started writting this album when he was 19. The album was written before Phil joined. YOU notice a big change on CFH because its the 1st record WRITTEN WRITTEN WRITTEN by Vinnie Dime Rex & PHILIP. Thats why they consider CFH their real debut, bc it is. 3rd & final album without Phil was released when Dime was 18. So Darrell wrote the songs on those records at ages 14-17.

I like the original version better of down belowI am the night with such a great album. I think That album in my opinion they were trying to find a new sound because it's completely different than projects in the jungle sound quality wise and Terry glaze put his all in that last album he did with them before Phil came in. But Phil definitely changed the band for its heaviness and power metal was the start of their new journey

what's the difference between pantera power metal vinyl white and red?

You need to understand that that look was general in 80s ...even in extreme . They didnt change their style . It was logical. Over and out, Death trap, Power metal , pst 88 ... Its not that drastic to CFH . In some songs , Still judas Priest influence . Or you listened just Primal concrete Cfh was played live in 80% in 1988 . They played power metal songs in 1990/1991 . Kept a certain wasnt the issue for Pantera . They were very young , the point was to found themselves and improve album after album to 1983 till all their career . Pantera was a bit cheesy sometimes in 80s , but never were a glam band . That a legend . It was british heavy metal influenced with some speed and thrashy moments . A van halen virtuosity and .. A Def leppard melodic sensibility ( Which you call glam ... but its pre Hysteria Def lepp influencr ) so melodic hard rock . Still better than the MTV stuff . But it wasnt the dominant thing for Pantera at all
